The food was quite good hotel food and very reasonably priced. The garden was lovely, with beautiful views of Vesuvius. I went there because I wished to visit Capodimonte art gallery and museum, and for this it was ideal, as it was about 10 minutes walk. There is nothing else in the area.

Our shower had no hot water but the staff quickly gave us another room to shower in. It's a EUR10 taxi drive to town unless you get stuck in traffic (cost us EUR20 on a rainy night), but there are very good views of Napoli and Mt Vesuvius. A bit on the pricey side, but nice big rooms and bathrooms and there is safe parking.

The hotel itself was a good deal for the money. However, we happened to be staying during August when the restaurant was closed - the bar food was a sorry substitute. The only other problem with the hotel is that it is at the top of the hill, quite a ways from the town center. Getting into the town center is a pretty tricky affair and generally not a good idea at night - making the hotel restaurant a necessity.

We didn't really explore Naples as we arrived late and were leaving the next day to head down to Sorrento. However, we did go to the nearby Palazzo di Capodimonte museum which is in a park that you can walk to from the hotel in less than 15 mins. That was a well worth a visit, although the art collection is extensive so I'd recommend selecting a few things you want to see and heading for those. Even if you're not really into art the building itself is worth looking around and it is a probably a light relief from the hustle and bustle of downtown Napoli!

I recently stayed at this hotel for 3 days and had an excellent time. ts located on the outskirts of Naples away from the hustle and bustle of the centre and has fine views of the coast. Got the bus down into town each day which is easy. The staff are very warm and friendly, the rooms have lovely, antique wooden floors, flat screen tv. They gave me lots of free advice on good fish restaurants and ae very open and always looking for a nice chat about family life, sport, where you are from and life in general. I cant recommend this hotel enough. If you want relaxation and fine surroundings, this is the place to come. Thank you to the other customer who sent in his positive review, which made me go.

I was first time in Napoli and for 2 days only, but I think this hotel is a very good choice. Before coming to Napoli I was warned about the "garbage" situation as well as about security in some areas. We are a family with 2 small children and we did not have any issues about these during the 2 days we spent there. Apart from the place where we exited the highway we did not really see more trash than usual in a big city of this part of the world - compared to Rome downtown for example the biggest difference was the lack of crowd that I don't like in Rome - so the situation for tourists is not that dramatic as shown in the media. The hotel's welcome was a free upgrade to a bigger room and 3-day tickets for public transport. Parking is free, we parked our car behind the wall/fence of the hotel. We tried the autobus to get to the city - some walk to get to the stop and - probably that time of the day - quite a long waiting for the bus, it takes you to Archeological Museum/Piazza Dante (metro at both places), about 5 stops. About Napoli: it is very nice, people were very kind and helpful everywhere - remember half of the bus discussing in Italian where we should get off, to help us :), always giving directions. After my daughter lost our free daily tickets :)) and we did not have change for the ticket-machine (1.1 EUR/80 minutes), the "Funicolare" ("metro-cable car" to the mountain) personnel let us in with 1 ticket only (the kids do not pay anyway in metro etc.) We called taxi to get back to the hotel twice - by accident the same young driver came both time who was very friendly - although as noticed second time, he had a button on the taximeter that changed the counting price from 12,5 to a 15,7 "fixed price" at the end, not sure if thats normal - and did not have change to return from a 20 both times :) so paid 20 instead of 13. But as you see, it should be about 13-15 EUR to get to/back the (even other side of) downt

The room was excellent and spacious. The location extraordinary for Neapels.Staff at the reception was efficient and helpfull. Breakfast was relatively poor for a hotel of this standard. Waiters were arrogant and not accommodating.

It was an excellent choice for the area. The rooms were newly redecorated and remodeled. The bed was very comfortable, the pillows were great, the tv was excellent, the toilet was modern, and the only drawback was not enough air conditioning to suit us. It was comfortable compared to the other hotels we stayed at on our trip. The staff was very gracious and helpful at all times. When we went to check out we were asked for 300e instead of the 150e. I had my printout of my confirmation and they adjusted the price accordingly.
