The Viking Motel is located in Cameron, Wisconsin at the junction of Hwy 8 and SS, 6 miles South of Rice Lake, 10 miles North of the Chetek Chain of Six Lakes, 6 miles East of Barron, 21 miles East of the St.Croix casino, and 23 miles South West of Christie Mountain. The motel offers 20 deluxe, clean and comfortable rooms, smoking or non-smoking, each equipped with coffee maker, refrigerator and microwave. All rooms have a private bath with a shower-tub combo, in-room phone, individual heating-cooling controls, cable television, desk with chair and table with chairs. Rooms have recently been updated with Mitsubishi super quiet AC. The motel is located in a small town, but convenient to larger town amenities and resort town activities. Activities in the area include water sports, shopping, dining, gambling, golfing, skiing, snowboarding, hiking and it is located on a snowmobile trail. The motel is within walking distance to a cafe, supper club, convenience store, laundromat, gas station, and a bait shop. Well maintained and impeccably clean, this motel offers consistently clean rooms and friendly service. Rates based on double occupancy. Children 6 and under stay free. Additional occupants ages 7 and up add 6.00 USD per person to rate. Pets are not allowed.
