When you think of a Bed and Breakfast you think old and quaint. This place is just another motel and the only thing that makes it a Bed and Breakfast is they serve Breakfast. The room was large, the bed comfortable but the room we had only had a large jetted tub. Could be romantic if you don't want a shower in the morning. But no shower is weird!

Business practices at this hotel are UNACCEPTABLE. We booked a ?honeymoon? suite for a romantic get away and were given a room with a BROKEN hot tub pump. We discovered that the owner was aware of the situation and book the room anyway. We were told that there were no other rooms available. He was willing to give a 20 discount, which was only 15% and did not even make the room comparable in price to other rooms at his hotel will smaller working hot tubs. He eventually told us he would refund our money and for us to GET OUT immediately. He was extremely rude and raised his voice as he spoke to us. He even said that he would call the police if we did not leave immediately. DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL. THE OWNER IS VERY SHADY.

Enjoyed the bed and breakfast atmosphere of this hotel/b&b. Only complaints were no shower, only a spa tub. Tub was small for an adult male and difficult to get in and out of. Room could have used a comfortable chair and seating area. Breakfast was cooked to order and very good. All in all, a nice facility for adults only.

Rooms were good size and comfortable. Breakfast cooked to order and very good. Could have been quieter. Walls seem thin! The hotel overall was very nice with good inn-keepers. Being where it is it did lack some class. Guests coming to breakfast without shoes and many children! However, if we found ourselves back in Kanab would use again.

The management is VERY RUDE. They have no problem renting out a defective room and then kicking you out because you complain. BUYER BEWARE.

I'll not recommend this place. This is NOT a B&B. Breakfast sheet advertised muffins. I expected a variety, not just one small, store bought kind. NO fresh fruit. NO sugar-free syrup. What's a diabetic supposed to do? No main room for people to gather in to watch TV, read etc. TV channels in room was minimal. No easy chairs in room. NO shower- just an over sized jacuzzi. NO screen on the window; couldn't open the window for fresh air. NO black-out drapes. Outside lighting came in behind the pull-down shade.

The Victorian Charm Inn Clarion in Kanab seems to be a new establishment that isn't yet ready for prime time. The room was ok -- attractively decorated and clean -- but it had a huge jacuzzi in the bedroom with no shower curtain or divider to provide a little modesty. The water didn't come out of the spout right -- only out of the sprayer -- and it took a long time to fill the tub enough so the jacuzzi could be turned on. Afterwards, it didn't drain right. The light over the sink was missing a light bulb, too, and there were towel racks in the bathroom (where the toilet was) but no towels. No small bottles of shampoo, conditioner, and lotion were provided either, although a note said we could ask for them. The host asked if our room was ok, but when we said, not really, his response was, well don't tell me about it or I'll have to fix it. The breakfast was ok, but another guest who was allergic to wheat asked that they boil his cereal (he brought it along) in a pot of water and was told that couldn't be done. That seemed ridiculous. The concept is fine, but, on the whole, I'd prefer to stay in a B&B.

This place is not your usual motel, nor does it claim to be. It is more like a B&B than a motel. It did not really work for us. The place is spotless, the furnishings nice. Our room was odd in that it had no shower, just a hand-held attachment in the tub. Very awkward. It did not have a closet, just a coat rack. No amenities to speak of, like a desk, or a coffeemaker. Breakfast was OK, except that you have to decide what you want and when you want it the night before. This is a nice place, but if you are looking for lots of amenities, for less money, this might not be the right place.

Good service but the hotel just seemed weird. You have to pick a time between 720 and 820 for breakfast (basic american breakfast). This hotel seemed kind of pricy for what I got,
