Hotel staff didn't seem to have much knowledge of the area nor much of anything we asked them, so be prepared with your local info yourself instead of relying on the hotel. Other than that, everything else was fine...the location was perfect as it's close to all the main areas and also where the hotel is located it is not a tourist area so all the restaurants were a lot cheaper as it caters to the locals, which was good.

What I like most is the hotel location that took only 2 minutes walk to line 4 Sub-way and City Airport Limousine terminals.

I stayed at Hotel Victoria, Seoul for 3 nights in November 2008. The room and hotel were clean and comfortable. The neighborhood was real Korean, not touristy. The location was not very convenient to where my business was, but that flaw was my lack of planning. Automobile traffic is terrible anywhere in the city. The main negative was people's impressions. They said I was staying in an undesirable part of the city, but I felt comfortable and safe day or night. I would stay there again.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. We had booked a triple room and the room was reasonably spacious. It was very close, approaximately 5 minutes from the train station and a few minutes walk to many restaurants. Definitely recommend this hotel.

Located very near the subway which makes moving around very convenient. The room is very spacious, so is the bathroom. In short, it's a value for money hotel.

i staied there 3 night last AUG. In conclusion, the hotel was satisfactory accomodation. After reading previous reviews, i was worry about many things but you guys should be remember how much you paid for there. The hotel is a bit old deco and tired but as you guys know Seoul is an expensive city for accomodation. The staff at reception were very friendlyand easy access from airport via airport limousin bus and city center. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who find simply looking for a clean and comfortable hotel in a good location. Plenty of restaurants next area and two banks make you combiance

The staff was extremely friendly. The hotel is situated quite near to the airport limousine bus stop. The room was a bit drafty, maybe due to the lack of thresholds.

A nice hotel for my first night in Seoul, though it took about two and a half hours to get there from Incheon Airport by train, subway and taxi late at night.

We loved our stay at Hotel Victoria! Miasamgeori is nice location with genuine korean city surroundings with interesting small streets filled with restaurants and life. We got double deluxe room and it was very pleasent and suitable sized for us. Rooms were clean and everything was cleaned up every day (offcourse). Staff was very friendly, allthough because of the accent you had to listen carefully what they say :) - Hotel Victoria was full of Japanese tourists and it suited us very well, since they are good behaving and silent. At first we were disappointed that we did not get hotel from Itaewon, but after visiting there we found out that Itaewon was tourist filled unpleasent street with lot of uninteresting shops. Miasamgeori was a lot better place to stay at and it is not that far away.

The location is a bit away from central Seoul, but access to subway station Mia-Sangori is only 5 minutes, so no problem. Many local restaurants and shops nearby, quite convenient for dining and shopping local products such as food or drinks. Hotel Front staffs are friendly and nice. Free to use internet at business center. Overall, reasonable and convenient hotel for sightseeing around Seoul. Recommend to use. (Do not expect much about facilities.)

Very happy with the Victoria. The Miasamageori area has almost everything that you need right within walking distance, and the subway takes you to any part of Seoul. Rooms were cleaned daily and fresh linen, the only criticism that I could give is that the water fountain on our floor would run out and the 5gal. bottle was not always promptly replaced.

Wish the area had a socialize place for tourist. The tourist area was train ride away. Otherwise, the area was very quiet away from nose and busy tourist.
