Description:
This delightful pensione style property is family run and has a warm, relaxing atmosphere to it. Its rooms are nicely decorated in a modern and functional style, they all have TV. The breakfast served in the room and the multilingual and friendly staff makes this a home away from home type of hotel. The Veste Residence is located in the east part of Rome at walking distance of San Lorenzo Fuori Le Mura church, Villa Massimo and Villa Mirafiori, moreover the tube station Tiburtina is only a block away so that guests staying at this property are easily connected to all parts of town. The reception is open from 08:00 to 23:00 therefore it is compulsory to advise the hotel if guests arrive before or after these times.

| Me and my husband stayed at this hostel from the 30 of April to the 3 of may 2008 and could not wait to leave. The staff were most unhelpful as they could not speak much English, the light was hanging off the ceiling in our room, also the plug behind the television was hanging off and the window did not open. Breakfast was almost non existent and the bathroom left a lot to be desired. This hostel is okay for 1 or 2 nights stay, but it is not ideal for a family. The only thing in its favor is that it is not too far away from the metro. Also if you stay here take some earplugs as the noise of the traffic will keep you awake all night. |
