Visitors to Rome travelling on a budget will appreciate the 2-star Vesta Residence Hotel (shared facilities), which is a family-run, quirky, pensione-style property. Offering a warm and relaxing atmosphere, the hotel's accommodation is pleasantly decorated in a modern and functional style, and all guestrooms are equipped with TV; shared bathrooms are located along the adjacent corridors. Due to the nature of this hotel, breakfast is served in the room but friendly staff manage to make this a "home away from home" type of hotel. The Vesta Residence is located in the eastern part of Rome within walking distance of San Lorenzo Fuori Le Mura church, Villa Massimo and Villa Mirafiori. Moreover, the tube station Tiburtina (only 6 direct stops to the Colosseum) is a mere 2 minutes' walk away, ensuring guests are easily connected to all parts of the city. The reception is open from 08:00 to 23:00, therefore it is compulsory to advise the hotel in advance if guests plan to arrive before or after these times; on arrival at Tiburtina metro station, bear directly right along the pavement for apx 150 metres until reaching a large brown block.
