Hello, I have been with my boy-friend during the Christmas Holiday. It was fantastic! Nice people working there, very gentile italian people. A really nice reminds about it. The room was very clean, nice interior in venetian style and warm , even outside the weather were very cold and wet.I really recommend this hotel for those that want to spend a nice romantic vacation for couples.

I booked this hotel by phone when I arrived in Venice central station, as the rates of the hotels in Venice center are terribly high! They immediately organized a pick up from the bus station at only 15 euros , which is a good rate compared to the very expensive taxi. The staff speak perfect english and do everything to make your stay perfect (advising places to go, transport information and so on). We loved the room in venetian style: this was the best room we ever had during our eurotrip.! The location was very tranquil .The restaurant serves kind of nouvelle cuisine stuff: we had a huge fish dinner for only 30 euros per person (don't try to eat in Venice, it's not worth, better to eat in the mainland ).I would definetely recommend this place to anyone, and remember to ask the staff to tell you about the amazing villas of the riviera del brenta: you should spend 1 day to visit them instead to go to Venice, if you have a 3-4 days stay.

The hotel is not located near Venice nor the train station. Buses stop running at 8:30 pm and the shuttle must be reserved 2 days in advance, and they often lose your reservation. There is not a cafe, restaurant or bar onsite (as stated in the web description) and there are none located in an area. The staff is amazingly rude. The picture of the hotel on the website is not the Villa Dori. The Villa Dori si a run down small hotel in a residential area far from everything. Don't stay there!
