A 10 minutes trip by vaporetto or a 20 minutes walk along the lagoon takes you to Piazza San Marco, the timeless, throbbing heart as quickly to the Lido, the site, in September, of the Venice Film Festival and its congregation of international movie stars. The Sant Elena is easily reached by vaporetto (water-bus public transportation) (7 lines: 1, 41, 51, 61, 42, 52, 62, N and seasonally line 82) from all areas of Venice including Santa Lucia railway station, Piazzale Roma parking, Marco Polo Venice Airport, Murano, Burano and Giudecca

Reach BBvenezia from the Train Station or Piazzale Roma (car terminal):By waterbus (# 51 or # 61 from P.Roma bus terminal or from Ferrovia rail station, stop at S.Elena) 3,50 Euro. Also accessible by waterbus # 1 - # 6162 - # 5152 - # 4142 By water-taxi (from the Railway Station or from Piazzale Roma) - approximately 60 Euro. Ask the taxi driver for S.Elena. Reach BBvenezia from Venice Airport Marco Polo1) Via ground and water: catch public bus # 5 leaving from the Departures area of the airport (a ticket costs Euro 1.50). Get off at Piazzale Roma, the car terminal station (last stop). Then catch waterbus #51 or #61 (Euro 3.50) and get off at S.ELENA station. (Daily, 3-day or weekly tickets are available.) 2) Via water by Alilaguna service. Get off at Lido or Arsenale and catch any waterbus one stop to S.Elena (ask the sailorattendant). It costs Euro 10.00. 3) Via water by water taxi: Ask the taxi driver for S.Elena. It could cost you approximately Euro 90. Where to Park your Car:There are several car parks at the bus terminal, Piazzale Roma. However, they are expensive, costing between Euro 19 and Euro 26 per day. You may want to consider a car park in Mestre (the mainland of Venice). You can then reach downtown Venice and our place by train or bus. For example, there is a car park just in front of the Mestre train station which costs Euro 5 per day. A train ticket to Venice is Euro 1.00 and the trip only takes 10 minutes.
