Although it is in a great location, the Veneto was very disappointing. The rooms were small but comfortable but the service is poor, especially the front desk. The elevators work with the room keycards and often times are unreliably. The most disturbing thing though was the overcharge for in-room Internet access which was included based on the package I booked. They charged me $**, twice! They removed it from the bill when I checked out but then proceeded to charge my card the full amount afterwards.

Great location, spotless and comfortable rooms, helpful staff, very nice casino. Beautiful outdoor pool on the seventh floor. Highly recommended overall.

For the price I thought the rooms would be nicer. I am used to staying at some really nice places for around 300 dollars a night. The rooms are a little old looking and need some help. There were a few stains on the couch. The name suite is over used and its more like a large room. Besides the room, the hotel is pretty nice. The sushi bar is the best if you like that stuff and the casino is not all that good, but hey its Panama. The people working in the hotel were really good and took good care of us. Its really safe place and right in the heart of the city. Oh the bed was the best and really comfortable and the bathroom was nice and large. I would stay again, but then again for the price you could probably get something never and updated. Great Sushi...great workers and great security. Pamama is a great place and really safe ...enjoy

The hotel is beautiful but as soon as you walk in the smell of cigarrette smoke is overwhelming! The rooms are good. There is a lot of noise in the public areas due to the casino and at night the area surrounding the hotel is not safe. The nicest thing about this hotel was the pool and spa. Also check your bill carefully for hidden charges

This was an excellent hotel, rooms were comfortable and though compact, were more then adequate, we stayed 12 days! Housekeeping was sloppy, linens and towels were very clean and nicely laundered, but, 'tidying up' did not seem part of the room servicing program! Food and drink was expensive by Panamanian standards, the Steak House was ludicrous in price and we do NOT recommend at all. Sushi was great and the Buffet, but open dishes need covers as there are small flies that seem to find their way to many of the dishes, which was a shame, simple covers would have sufficed. Terrific location and amenities, great local restaurants and room service was actually reasonable, a la carte was better then set meals!

Be sure to check your bill and all the charges that are on your account. Traveled in a group and discovered Many inconsistancies in the charges. I would advise to pay in cash

If you like to be surrounded by beautiful girls and dont have your wife or girlfriend with you.Then you will love this place.girl to guy ratio is 20 to 1 or some nights 40 to 1.

The room was overall nice. The staff was rude at the front desk and univiting. The hotel is of nice quality but the staff does not reflect a quality hotel. Needs to better serve each and every customer with professionalism. Room was good quality but don't expect the price to reflect an overall luxury experience.

.... in a great location, but not a nice place for families or decent women. The place had prostitutes in the lobby, at the casino and in the elevators with their "Johns." I was offended and would probably never stay there again. The canal and bus terminal was easily accessible by taxi(around $5). Don't take taxis from the hotel. Their prices are higher.
