The 53 Mediterranean-style guestrooms in the Vello D'Oro Hotel Taormina feature whitewashed walls and ceramic tiled floors. The furnishings are of wood and marble. All rooms are air-conditioned. The Vello D'Oro Hotel Taormina used to be a school for ceramics, and when it was converted into a hotel in the 1950s, much of the ceramic work was retained as part of the decor.
