| My husband and I booked this hotel last minute after seeing it online. We took a chance on it since we hadn't seen any reviews, but what a place!!! The location is ideal, the staff helpful, and the rooms beautiful. Vanderbilt really has the feel of an old Newport mansion, yet updated with the most beautiful and elegant decor. This will be our new hotel of choice in the Newport area. |

| Location is great. You are steps away from the busiest area of Newport, Thames St; however its as if you stepped into an oasis of your own. The outdoor garden area is a lovely area to enjoy a drink or breakfast/lunch/dinner. The rooms were modern and had a great "homey" feel. Staff and service is excellent. |
