Couple -City TouringGood quality budget hotel. Staff helpful. Aprrox 15 minutes walk to old city centre.Good buffet breakfast spread. Evening meal menu limited and some items not available. Quality of food was good and fairly priced. Hotel provides a courtesy mini bus service into the old city centre area in the evening.

The hotel is actually a 10-15 minutes walk from the Gare Midi train station and takes abt 15-20 minutes to the Grote Markt. Quiet surroundings but not too far from the main attractions. Receptions are friendly, and rooms are clean and spacious. Breakfast are good with many choices of breads, cereals, jams and butter, eggs and sausages and coffee and tea. Recommended for a short stay.

We stayed at the hotel for a five night break and were a little disturbed by some of the comments on Trip Advisor which we read before our visit. My partner and I have worked in the hotel/restaurant business for most of our lives and therefore have an understanding of the operation of hotels. The hotel was spotless and all staff encountered were extremely helpful and friendly. The rooms were a little basic and shabby but this is reflected in the price. We were advised not to walk into the centre in the evening and a courtesy bus is provided at 30 minute intervals. The street is lively and some traffic and street noise could be heard but the rooms are double glazed and the hotel is close to the centre of a major city. As in any city it is wise to be aware of personal safety but the staff were happy to advise. The hotel would be a good choice for someone seeking a different experience rather than the security of a corporate bedroom that leaves you unsure of which country you are actually staying in.

The staff, both reception and dining room/bar, were very helpful. The breakfast was excellent, as was dinner. For me the hotel represented excellent value and the location was very convenient being a short distance to Grand Place and Gare du Midi.

A bargain but not in the nicest part of the city; however, the hotel provides a shuttle service to the centre.

Whilst the hotel is located in the depressed part of Brussels, the courtesy bus delivery and pick-up service to the City Centre and to Gare de Midi is an exceptional facility that they should make known in advance. Very helpful, friendly and efficient staff.

The single-bed room is very small. The washing room is even smaller. Breakfast is quite good. No shuttle bus to Midi station. It is around 10 miniutes walk distance to Midi station. The neighbouring street to the Midi station is dirty and not safety in the midnight.

Excellent value and great service in particular by the free shuttle that takes you into central Brussels and to and from Midi train station.
