In terms of cleanliness, not too bad but the noise level at night is too much. The railroad crossing is located within a half mile of this hotel and you will here horns 90-110 decibels 24hrs throughout the night. Breakfast consists of watery orange or apple juice from within the hotel reception and a wrapped up pastry. Due to its location i would not recommend this hotel.

Very Comfortable settings, great viewing, and very private. The restraunts were near by and Shopping Centers were easy to find. Night parking was excellent, and neighbors were very courteous.

The price was the best thing ... room was very small, double beds were small, AC was very noisy, neighborhood was nothing special. "breakfast" was a packaged pastry and juice. Certainly the worst motel of my trip.

Nice place to stay but make sure you ask for the side not facing the freeway and Denny's! Lots of room on the quite comfortable side to stay on the cheap!

Very clean rooms, nice staff, good place to stop over and they have a mcDonald's across the street that stays open late

It was an avearge place to stay. I saw four stars and thought it might be better. It did not have a coffee maker in the room. There was only one set of towels. There was some black mold in the shower area. When I asked for a late check-out of 12:00, I was at first told ""no"". I would not stay here again unless I was really strapped for money. People were friendly otherwise. They also wanted a deposit for the remote.

Was traveling to Yosemite from Vallejo when we stopped here for the night. Room was cheap, bed comfortable, tv worked, shower was hot. However, about 2.30 a group showed up next store and partied the rest of the night. When we got up at 6, they were still going strong. Other than that our stay was great...

I stayed at the Vagabond Inn on my way to Redding, and I was very pleased at what they offer for the price, I had a free cont. breakfast, and while the last two hotels I stayed at charged me for internet access, this one was free!

If you are just looking for basic, clean accomodations this hotel will suit your needs. Nothing fancy, but the bed wasn't hard as a rock, actually had fluffy pillows not those pancake ones a lot of hotels have. The shower head leaked when turned on, but was good enough to take a shower. There appears to be some permanent residents in this hotel who like to ""visit"" each other at night and make a lot of noise. We just turned on the A/C fan to drown them out. "

"I stayed at the Vagabond Inn overnight on my way to Sacramento. I was pleasantly surpised, as I have never stayed at a VAgabond, but I see them all over California. The rooms was clean, and the gal at the front desk was really helpful, as I arrived late, and with sleepy children. Iliked it so much, I booked in Sacramento at Vagabond, too. "

Don't go there. The NOISE is terrible. 1 block from the free way. 2 blooks from a railroad crossing. Behind a 24 hrs denny restaurant parking lot with lots of loud diners. The rooms have paper thin walls. I could not sleep at all. I thought of going to my car and sleep there. It was that bad. The staff's attitude was beyond rude. It was outright hostile when I asked to change room for the next night.

The rooms have been remodeled and are very comfortable and clean. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Having a 24 hour Denny's adjacent to the motel was a plus.
