Good Value for money, good location, stayed 2 nights with 11am checkout.Shops within walking distance (Casino next to them).Breakfast not substancial, but what do you expect for budget(shop @ supermarket)? Internet worked well (only wireless)It is a fair distance from the airport but if you are on a budget you could look up www.metro.net and do a search on bus routes, it cost us just $1 US each to get from the airport (took just over 2 hours by bus and was a scenic route with a transfer) Would definantely consider staying there again.Short walk to bus to Disneyland and Knott's Berry Farm. One thing to note... From the international terminal catch the free C-Bus (the City Bus, I think it is the C Car park also) it will take you to the LAX bus terminal (it leaves from the blue sections of the traffic islands (look at the colour of the signs outside every terminal, purple, blue, etc). We did not figure this out at first, hope this helps :)

Had no problems with the customer service, but then again I didn't really speak with them only for check in and check out. Honestly, I don't think they cleaned my room at all, but hey at least they restocked the shampoo and soap even though I brought my own. The room had a fridge, a microwave, a DVD player, AM/FM alarm clock radio, WiFi and a decent sized TV with HBO. I don't think they cleaned my room because I noticed chunks of I have no idea what on the floor to where it was obvious they didn't vacuum. The shower wasn't too dirty and there was no hair in there, but it could definitely use a cleaning. I also could not sleep in this hotel . The road is a bit noisy and I was the closest room to it, but it's really not that loud. The good news is that it is close to PLENTY of restaurants and some stores also and a gas station is right next door.

THis hotel was terrible. Room cleanliness was substandard, I found a syringe in our room, and there was a mouse in there. When I found the syringe I called down to the front desk and asked for another room the person working told me "there were no other rooms" which was fine, I told her I would need a refund to stay somewhere else she said "A manager would have to do that and she would not be available until 12 am" this was all at 9pm. When I went back into the room to collect our luggage I toolk a better look around and there was mouse leavings on the bathroom floor and entertainment. We only stayed in the room for 4 Hours and had to sit in the parking lot and wait for another 3 until a manager showed up. This is definitely the worse experience I have ever had at any Hotel and will never book with Vagabond Inn or Travel website again.

It is a OK hotel for leisure traveller. I chose this hotel as it lies exactly half way between Disney and Universal Studios. This is a basic hotel with all the amenities (free local calls, refrigerator, microwave). But the breakfast was just cinammon rolls with coffee. It would have been great if some more items were available in the breakfast menu. Overall, good value for money.

Free Internet, Free Coffee, Free Paper for one great low price. I rather stay somewhere where internet is free instead of a upper class brand where you have to pay for everything. I even got a fridge and microwave in the room.

Good place for the price you pay. I would recommend it for someone who needs a comfortable room and does not want to spend a lot of money.

my wife and I had a night to ourselves so I planed a night at this inn. The staff was outstanding, I had asked if they would do me a favor (she agreed) by having rose pedals which I had delivered earlier in the day to have them spread them over the bed. To cut the story short, not only did she do the rose pedals she went out of her way and put a bottle of apple cider and two glasses, candles around the room and had a DVD player with a few flicks . My wife was so happy and thinks I did it all, so go down the next morning to thank the manger a give her a tip, she refused the tip and said it was all in the name of service. Thanks alot, would like to do this again soon!!

We are not that picky when it comes to hotel. But this one was just way out there in terms of cleanliness. The microwave oven had caked on cheese on the turn table about the size of a saucer. The floor was littered with food crumbs and tiny bits of paper. Do not even look at the place where the night stand is located. You will regret it. I had to as the night lamp was not plogged in so I had to stoop down to plug in the lamp. The bathroom was also icky. The shower curtain had mold spots on it. Avoid this place if you can.

"Instead of getting an authorization on my credit card, they ran a paper credit card slip they had me sign at the time of check-in and REFUSED to give me the signed slip upon checkout even though there were no incidental charges incurred. I got into an argument with the manager about this. I will never stay there again."

"The maid will come by your room ONCE a day to clean. If you sleep late and the ""Do Not Disturb"" sign is still out when the maid comes by, your room will not be cleaned that day. Owner's response was ""If you want the maid to come back later to clean your room - YOU NEED TO GO TO A 4 OR 5 STAR HOTEL! I would have immediately left if online travel websitehad not made me pay for all 4 nights up front!!"

"I will never stay at a Vagabond Inn again. They came in daily to make our beds but never washed the mirror, bathroom fixtures, or dusted the full 6 days we were there."

"This place did what all cheap hotels should do. There were no extras, no pool or exercise room or things like that, but it was very clean and the staff was friendly. Those are really the only things you need. There was even a little fridge and microwave. If you want to save money, I would absolutely recommend this hotel."
