This hotel is in the perfect spot and has an indoor pool. Close enough to campus but not too close. Would stay here anytime I'm in town.

Location near Purdue University. Hotel staff at front desk. Incompetent, difficult staff. Suite did not come with pull out bed! Beds were uncomfortable.

We were very comfortable at this hotel. The rooms were clean and newly updated. The carpetlooked new in the rooms. The indoor pool was very nice. Morning breakfast buffet was good also. The open atrium area was a nice area to sit and relax while the kids played in the pool. The arcade games were located right next to the pool.

The University Inn was overpriced, considering it's a relic from the late 60's that has only partially been renovated. The room had been renovated and was nicely done, but the airconditioning unit hadn't been renovated - so that it made a horrible noise when turned on. The room also faced a center courtyard above an airhockey table that reverberated sound as kids constantly played it until the 11pm curfew. Also, my room was not cleaned, although housekeeping had been in to replace the glasses - that was it - no new towels, no made bed, and no new coffee. When I called that night to complain and ask for new towels, there was no apology from the front desk. When I came back from the hotel bar I found new towels on the bed, but they had not taken away the old towels. The next morning I informed the front desk when I checked out that I was unhappy about that situation, she did apologize, but offered no recourse. I will not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Very close to a Walmart, Campus, and Applebees. Small beds.

I was called by X and was told a room was canceled due to construction and that they had a room on hold for me at another hotel. Same room, same price. I called the other hotel and there was no room under my name. Luckily I got the last room but I had to pay more money because it was a suite. I called back the University Inn and was told they didn't have a room on hold for me at the other hotel and that I had to pay more money. I was told by the manager that they only held standard rooms for 40 people no names were given and it was first come first serve. I said since my name started with a "W" I was the last one called and he said that was correct. He didn't say sorry or offer me anything for my troubles. I was very lucky that I got the last room at the other hotel. The other hotel even gave me a discount on the suite because they knew I was in trouble. I should have been staying there the weekend of August 11th. If you are booking for the football games, you better be careful. You're room might get canceled.

Great Staff, hotel is very close to purdue and easy to get to I-65

Nice pool area for the family and they did not use too much chlorine in the water! The night clerk "yelled" at me and another guest about wearing shoes in the lobby. While she watched TV on the job! They will soon renovate the rooms, but even now, it is a clean and nice facility to stay in. The children liked the pool because the chemicals were well managed and the water did not bother them like it has at other places. The food and its presentation were great. Everyone was very friendly and helpful except for one night clerk who "scolded" me and another guest. While she watched a TV that was on the main counter. As she worked! I thought she could "go". Wait staff, bartender, housekeeping were all super.

Rooms and furnishings were very old. Entire hotel smells like chlorine from the pool. It is very noisy will all of the children from the pool. Everything in the room was falling apart. It was dingy and dirty as well, I was afraid to walk around barefoot. I would not stay at this hotel again.

Very convenient to Purdue University. The continental breakfast was not offered on the weekend.
