Small rooms, but very funky lighting and layout. Friendly staff, interesting bar furniture/interior and very good continental breakfast, vast variety. Parking is an extra €20 which is pretty steep, but convenient. Hotel is private but not in the best area and a good 15/20 minute walk to to the centre of town, but lots of great little restaurants just further up on this side of the river - lot less touristy. If you can get a deal it is a great place to stay if you are after a bit of 'Modern' after a lot 'old'.

First of all the hotel was kind of hard to find, being it was located on a one way street sitting back in the distance behind a gate. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Hotel was remodeled into a modern type setting kinda of a retro look. The room we had was cool right when we got there with modern features, but lack comfort and quality. Examples: Bathroom door handle fell off instantly, shower drain backed up all the time, no place to store luggage, and the bed was hard as a rock.

Very good value for money, high quality finish and comfortable bed.Easy walking distance to all the main attractions of Florence but also near some lesser known local restaurants and unique shops. It is a bit of an oasis, set back from a fairly busy road.It has the added bonus of having a shaded outside seating area which makes it a perfect city centre hotel.I think for the location, price and standard of accommodation it represents excellent value for money.

the italian word for small is "picollo". our room was molto picollo but full of modern conveniences. there was not enough room for us to move around comfortably once our luggage was open on the floor. there are two types of room: basic and premium. the basic was our room and priced at a 3/4 star rate.the premium room i believe had more room, hopefullhy to be ablle to sit on a chair within. once settled, all that we could do was to lay in bed to watch tv or read. otherwise, one had to sit at a barstool at the foot of the bed. my main grievance was in room size. the location is fine. about 5 minutes from the pitti palace and the ponte vechhio. the breakfast buffet was excellent. but, too much money asked for these tiny cacoons.

The Hotel is amazing, stunning decor. We stayed because of a discount through Late Rooms, without the discount we would not stay again.

Off-beat location but otherwise a wonderful experience. Really quirky rooms, very cool public spaces, very helpful staff (though a little shy on english) rooms were a little small.

My stay at the UNA Hotel was very good! Breakfast was great, especially the boiled eggs instead of the usual soggy, wet ones and you can even have champagne with breakfast if you wish. The bed was very comfortable ? must softer than most other European beds. The shower was difficult, as it flooded often, so turn the water off when shampooing, etc. The room was small but very cool and modern. The distance from the center was made easier with their shuttle service. Front desk was helpful.

The hotel was very unusual but really nice and clean and the staff were friendly. The only slight drawback is that it is slightly out of town, although they do provide a free mini bus to bring you there.

My Mum and I LOVED it!!! Great design, very special rooms, very good food. Rooms and bathroom are small, but "sexy". Room maid was not the best. Lovely garden for dinner, coffee etc. Very quite! The price is very good for the high standard. We definitely will come back!!! Highly recommended!

Good location, if you don't want to be in crowded center (15 minute walk to all sights and shops) especially if coming by car ( spacious parking infront of hotel and garage). Rooms are nice and clean, even though small. I didn't really like the bathroom, for that standard of hotel I would expect a proper shower (not only a corner with a curtain and no light at all). Breakfast area has only few separate tables and a big common one in the middle. When it gets really crowded it reminded on canteen; everyone sitting together. The choice and quality of food should definitely be better for that class of hotel.

Highly recommendated! We had a great stay. Hotel is really, really design (and we stay at a lot of them), beautifull rooms, great breakfast and lovely lunch outsite on the terras! Its about 15 minute walk to the real city! But worth the distance! Only no babychair in the restaurant, although a lovely babybed!
