i feel sick just thinking about this hotel - what a dump. The room which i was given was very musty and damp. the smell in the room was disgusting. The sheets on the bed were dirty and full of hairs. I told this to reception and they didn't seem one bit bothered by it. They didn't even apologize. It seemed as if they were well used to complaints. i was given another room -but it was just as bad. Really smelly and musty, dirty carpet. As it was very late when i arrived at the hotel and as i was traveling on my own, I had to stay there. The next morning i felt so sick from the smell and my throat was full of phlegm from the bad air that surrounded the room. I would not recommend this hotel. I will never stay there again.

The hotel needs refurbishment, everything could do with a good spruce up especially the beds, was very old and squeaky, not very comfortable. Other than that for a quick stop over on the way from shannon airport it was alright but wouldn't stay for longer.

This was a single night stay; we just needed to be near the Shannon airport for next-day flights. It is very easy to find on the highway north of Limerick, whether southbound or northbound. Reception staff was very friendly and helpful with taxi information. Our room was as reserved. Rooms are small but adequate. Food at O'Neill's (next door) is outstanding. We did not eat in the hotel itself. The Inn is a 15-minute drive from the airport.

The noise from the central heating system adjacent to my room (203) was a loud chattering for most of the night . It pevented me gatting any sleep untill 01.30 approx. I informed the hotel on my morning checkout. It really spoilt my nights sleep.

There is a pub next door where you can get an evening meal. It is not very good! However, you are some two miles outside of Limerick, so, unless you drive, there is no choice.

Hotel is great base for Shannon Airport as it is on highway north of Limerick and straight easy drive to Shannon, with free easy parking. They are in midst of new addition of modern, very comfortable rooms (50). Friendly, helpful service. Next door to hotel is a pub/ restaurant in old and attractive building with great beams, fireplaces, and unusual, interesting old fixtures in toilets. Great value and would definitely use again if flying in or out of Shannon.

| Helpful & pleasant staff... room pretty quiet considering a Debs band was playing in the function room.
Easy to find on the gps, easy parking. Easy to book the night before for one night.
Also useful was the wireless internet in the lounge area. |

massive motel showing signs of age but handy for shannon airport. Room a bit tatty and tea/coffee in room means only one tea bag and one milk sachet. OK if you need somewhere next to Shannon for a night but must be better elseware.

Great value for the price and the room had full size coffee cups-what a joy. Down sides heating could not be turned off, neither the towel rails nor out in the corridor, so hotel and our room ridiculously hot and overbearingly stuffy. Middle of summer too. Strange clicking sound present in room 24/7.

When leaving the hotel, going back to Limerick, is difficult. And not signposted well enough. If you miss the turn you have to drive about 20miles down the road in the wrong direction to turn around and drive that 20miles again. (20 may be exagerated)
