The Dutch are not used to offer service. This hotel is an absolute p.i.t.a. Unless there is something better, do not stay here. Unless, of course, the only purpose of your visit is to blow. In that case the size of your shower, and bedroom, will hardly matter.

Nice hotel. Clean rooms very close to the Red Light District. Friendly and honest staff. The hotel was unawear that the ice machine, one for the entire hotel was broken.

Clean, neat, very central location. The staff could be a little friendlier. The hotel is very clean and is really close to everything. Walking distance from the train and from restaurants, bars, etc. Excellent for younger and older travelers alike.

We had a very odd shaped room on the side of the building with very little space to move around the end of the bed. The location was excellent, an easy walk to both Dam Square and Central Station with a tram stop right outside the door. There were no tea/coffee facilities and breakfast was not cheap at 15 euros per person Internet access is much cheaper at the internet cafe across the street. Reception staff spoke English.

This hotel needs some major upgrades. Only the Deluxe rooms and the Lobby are upgraded. The Standard rooms look as if someone attepted to upgrade, but stopped half way through, and then just returned the furniture to its previous location. Otherwise, prime location. Five minute walk to Central Station, five minute walk to National Monument, and five minute walk to Red Light District. Musuem district is a 40 minute walk, or can be reached by tram. Great city, great location, questionable 3 star hotel rating...

The single room was tiny, but did the job. If your in Amsterdam for the coffee shops... as i was, it has a great location period. The room was a closet and the tv hardly worked, its service would just go out for no reason.

The price is a little high, although most were in the city center. The hotel was one of the nicest in the area. Be aware that only the more costly rooms have air conditioning. When location is key, this hotel excels...

The rooms were really nice and spacious. The staff wasn't very friendly. They forgot to give us the wake up call that we requested, and therefore we missed our tour. Hotel didn't even appologize. The location of the hotel was convenient, rooms were nice. I probably wouldn't stay there with children, because the hotel was really close to the Red Light District and the Coffee Shops.

Lovely hotel right in the centre of Amsterdam. The hotel was lovely and the staff couldn't have been more friendly. Would definitely recommend staying there and would definitely consider going back.

The bathroom had about 5 inches to squeeze between the sink and the shower in order to get to the toilet. Most Americans would not be able to fit!

Convenient location, but not well mapped to find. No air conditioning, room and TV were small, no parking. Convenient location, but charge for everything extra, breakfast, internet access, parking.

Hotel was extremely clean and well placed for the station as could walk there. Didnt have breakfast as thought it was too expensive at 15 euro's!. Staff were very helpfull. Would stay again definately.

The room was so small that the door slammed into the closet upon opening it. With a couple, it is physically impossible to walk in the room and not touch each other. The front desk staff was extremely rude, we noticed one family prematurely terminating their stay because of the size of the room and the service. If there had been availablility in another hotel we would have done the same. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.
