The hotel is well connected by bus and train, with stations just 300 metres away, and a tramway stop is 20 metres away from the hotel.

Here we met the grumpiest Hotel receptionist we have ever encountered - awful! The Hotel rooms smelt of stale smoke but apart from those two things, the hotel was ok. Great location in a lovley city. Good value for money when booked through Late Rooms - however would have been unhappy paying full rate.

Relatively clean. Crowded room with little room to move. Very noisy. Parking inconvenient. Shower with inadequate screen creating big mess. While some may appreciate the location as being centrally situated, it's nearness to a large city park and a major thoroughfare made the noise level offensive. The attempt to provide all the accouterments of a fancy hotel lead them to place excessive furniture in a small room thus making it almost impossible to move around. The bathroom was clean and neat however the shower had a half screen separating it from the sink, thus the bathroom became very wet during a normal shower usage. All in all, could have been much better.

After booking we contacted the hotel via email with several questions all of which were replied to in perfect english very quickly and the replies were precice and very helpful. We trvelled from the airport at St Geoirs by local bus which meets each flight, 4 euros each (80 + by taxi) and the journey to Grenoble was superb (about 30 mins). Got off at the bus/train station and followed the tram line direct to the hotel (10 min stroll). Hotel and staff were excellent, our room could have been a little cleaner but was by no means worth complaining about. Hotel is situated perfectly for town centre (200m) with excellent restaurants and shops and Bastille cable car (800m). Grenoble is charming but is not a tourist spot - don't expect tacky souvenir shops or spoken english. A must is a trip up the Bastille, enjoy a meal & drink in the restaurant with that view - breathtaking ! On departure our bill showed full room rate and not discounted Laterooms discount but was corrected immediately and apology offered. Only downside of location is the church next door - love to meet the early morning bell ringer on a dark night ! Saying that would definately use hotel again and probably will soon !! Bon Vacance

Hotel right in the middle of town with access to a local car park providing free parking from 10am - 5pm (obviously this may change). Would definately stay there again, staff all very friendly and very helpful
