What are your breakfast options?: We offer a full three-course breakfast each morning sourced from the freshest local ingredients the Islands have the offer. During busy weekends and the summer season, we have an 8:30 am and 9:30 am seating. When it is not as busy we have one seating at 9:00 am. For guests staying in our suites and cottages, we offer the option of breakfast delivery.
What transport is available to get around?: You can absolutely manage around the Island without a car. We are a 2 block walk from the ferry landing. Everything within the town limits is a short walk on foot. If you want to explore the Island, we have bikes for you to use complimentary. You can rent a car on the Island from either M&W auto or from Susie's Mopeds. During the summer through Labor Day, there is a transit bus that stops at all the sites around the Island.

Many of our guests rent a car and drive to Anacortes which is 80 miles north of the SeaTac Airport. There are several other options for getting to the Island without renting a car.

Westwind Aviation offers charter flights from Anacortes Airport a mile or so from the terminal. It is a 15 minute flight. So if you leave your car in Seattle, you can get to and from the Island via 2 shuttle buses - The Island Airporter leaves Friday Harbor daily except Sundays at 5:45 a.m. and arrives in Sea Tac at 9:30 a.m. The Bellair Shuttles leaves from the Ferry Terminal in Anacortes and goes to downtown Seattle and the Airport. You can also fly to Seattle from Friday Harbor via Kenmore Air to Boeing Field or Lake Union - depending on if you take the float plane or wheel plane.
What can I do nearby?: There are several restaurants in the area that offer live music as well as a movie and community theater a short walk away.

The big attractions that bring folks to the Island is the beauty and the fabulous outdoor activities including whale watching, biking, kayaking, hiking and birding to name a few.
