Tryp Blanche Fontaine June 09Excellent location for visiting Montmartre, 2 mins from Moulin Rouge and close to Metro. Lift available but some steps to get to it (room 122). Room was clean and middle of range with TV and mini bar but no coffee or tea making facilities. Ensuite bathroom ok with hairdryer included. Excellent value for money at 65 euros.

I am still a student, and the hotel was fairly cheap. The location was not ideal and was a bit difficult to find. Everything was great.

Cheap but it showsThe room had a poorly designed bathroom (e.g. the shower sprayed everywhere), and had no coffee and tea making facilities. It has the temperature set too high, and we got disturbed by a fire alarm one afternoon and at 7:30am in the morning of departure, which is more than a little excessive in a 2 day stay.

Got this room for the discounted rate of Â£65 per night which was the only 3* hotel anywhere near this price. Although the hotel is in one of the not so nice areas of Paris we saw no real evidence of this. The hotel could definatly benefit from a bit of an overhaul on the exterior but the rooms were clean and fairly large. We stayed in the Villa Fontaine which was seperate from the main hotel. If returning to Paris would definatly stay here again if the same rate was available.

This hotel was great for our 'tourist' requirements, 2 mins from Moulin Rouge and the tube network, 35 mins walk from Gard du Nord. Hotel clean and rooms spacious compared to some others we have stayed at. Great value at Â£75 per room when we stayed.

We paid extra for the Superior Room. Dont bother. First room was adequate but on ground floor next to smokers corner and the carpet was soaked down one side of the room. Were moved, grudgingly to another room ..I would hate to see the standard rooms. No bathrobes or welcome pack as advertised and a very small room with bathroom with moulding tiles. Plus was the small balcony with views of rooftops. Staff were efficient but not friendly. Hotel was in great position for Montmartre and buses and metro.

Nice clean hotel, easy access to public transport, very good location. Friendly staff, Reception was very pleasant, helpful and friendly. The room was tidy and quiet, batroom was very clean had decent size, an advantage may be car park(15 euros/day). Overall pleasant stay, I'd recomed to anyone.

There was some confusion about the booking (I had booked, cancelled and booked again - first two steps actioned the third was not) Hotel was fully booked but staff sorted out the situation with a room upgrade. Twin beds made up as doube for last night of stay. Once again staff very frendly and helpful. Hotel is set back from the street and entrance easy to overlook. Location in the "cabaret" district did not prove an imposing issue, handy for public transport and tour bus stops at the top of the street. Moulin Rouge also located at the same intersection.

Hotel very easy to find and a great location (literally 1 minute from Moulin Rouge!) to discover Montmartre. Loads of cafes, bars and restaurants around.. yep they are geared up for tourists but all good.. Clean rooms, friendly staff and ok breakfast.
