Whether you choose the Bistro, the relaxing Wine Bar or our Private Garden you can be assured of a wonderful selection of wines, premium imported beers, excellent food and carefully chosen Cuban cigars. We are open for breakfast, lunch and dinner and with live music on Thursday, Friday and Saturday night we can cater for almost any event including Corporate Events and Christmas Patries.For special occasions, the restaurant is available for private bookings. Trinity Lodge is a city centre hotel housed in three heritage buildings. While every effort was made during their renovation to soundproof the premises we are constrained by the City Council's rules regarding the historic buildings and cannot therefore guarantee that street noise will not be heard in the hotel. From Dublin Airport, Follow the road signs for the city Centre.After crossing over O'Connell Bridge, continue up Westmoreland Street, and take the left around Trinity College gates onto Nassau Street. Take the third turn right, up onto Kildare Street, next turn right onto Molesworth street and then right again down onto our street, South Frederick Street. You will find us on your left, however, there is the Setanta car-park entrance on your right or on street parking outside the Guesthouse.The air coach (airport bus) and the Dublin city bus tour leave from right beside the hotel and Dublin's central bus station and main train station (Pearse Station) are both within 8-10 minutes walking distance. The city's new light rail system, LUAS, is only a 5 minute stroll and is a great way of getting to some of Dublin best tourist attractions. Parking: There is parking for guests at 2 separate multi-story car parks. The Setanta car park is located 50 metres from the hotel and the Dawson car park is located 250 metres away. Parking at both of these car parks is offered at a discounted rate for guests: from 17:00 to 11:00 it costs EUR 6, and from 11:00 to 17:00 it costs EUR 2.90.

Trinity Lodge, DublinA well-situated small hotel, with its own bistro across the road, doubling as a breakfast room. Staff very nice, both in the hotel and the bistro. Our room was on the third floor with no lift. The room was quite small. The bathroom plumbing was breaking down. There were no croissants on the Monday morning. This was alright for 125 euros per night including continental breakfast for the two of us; but it would not have been worth any more than that.

Wonderful place, reasonably priced, just a couple of things missing that stop it from being perfectThis was a fantastic place. Rooms were amazing and dramatic. Massive high ceilings. Cool artworks on the wall. Really friendly staff. The only complaint was that it would have been nice to have a mini bar, or at least bottles of water in the room. Similarly, the lack of bar area is something that can be annoying. Sure, there is the Bistro (across the road) but I personally quite like the idea of chilling in a hotel bar after a hellish day of meetings before heading on out.

Super hotel, I'd recommend it highly. Right in the heart of Dublin, just off the beaten track on a quiet road but only a short walk away from Trinity and of course Temple Bar, Dublin Castle etc. The accommodation was spotless, the staff very welcoming and helpful. Breakfast was continental which was fine. All in all a great place to stay.

room was clean and big but some lights were not working and curtains rail was broken. Heater was too small for room and noisey, also a/c unit gave no heat out? There was also no hot water from tap and we had to boil kettle. Apart from these small points the hotel was very central and quiet and on a quiet side street.

Room was spacious and impressive - but terribly noisy at night. Big, Georgian single glazed bay windows let in every sound from outside - along with the cold! Internet connection was unreliable in rooms but OK in restaurant (over road).I suppose that all in all - it was a nice hotel but Dublin's just too expensive at £1 = €1.

Lovely hotel, conveniently situated close to Grafton Street /Trinity College on a quiet street. Restaurant is excellent and good value. We even got a complimentary glass of wine each just because we were hotel guests. Nice touch.Because we had to check-out early and would miss breakfast, the receptionist arranged for a selection of muffins, fruit and croissants to be left in our room the night before at no extra charge. The staff here cannot do enough to make your stay as relaxing as possible.

Trinity Lodge is in a Georgian building, so don't expect flashy mod cons and a plush marble-floored reception. It's in a good position though, and it felt homely. My room had no bath (only a shower), and the shaving light didn't work, so it wasn't perfect.

Whilst I thought the hotel overall was excellent, I did think the continental breakfast was sparse and would have benefited from the addition of fruit juice and/or cereal at least. However, this did not detract at all from our stay as the hotel staff and room were excellent.

The hotel itself is nice - my key gripe is that this is advertised on laterooms.com as \"with breakfast\". When we got there we were told this was \"continental\" which is okay. Except for the fact that the hotels interpretation of \"continental\" is toast + coffee only. If you take anything else off the buffet table they'll charge you for a buffet breakfast. Whilst the cost of this is low .. about 4 quid ... i thought it was really money grasping. Not sure why it annoyed me as much as it did, but I travel a lot and when an advert sayes with breakfast I kind of expect it to be with breakfast. Anyhow, rant over. The room we stayed in was nice though

Having stayed at the hotel earlier in the year, I had no qualms at going back when I had late notice. The staff are great in the hotel, a little bit less so in the restaurant at breakfast. A pleasant, no problems, accommodation. I will no doubt be back at some point.

The hotel was very central,just around the corner from the drop-off point of the airport bu[which was cheaper to buy a return ticket in advance,from ticket sellers outside the airport].The staff were very friendly,but no irish accents to be heard!The rooms were Huge!!Very comfortable.

A beautiful hotel set in a fantastic location. Having read previous reviews complaining about the noise from the streets, we were pleasantly surprised at how quiet room was - maybe as we were at the back of the hotel. Very impressed with the restaurant - lovely out door eating area where we enjoyed our complimentary drinks and restaurant itself served gorgeous food - can highly recommend the early bird special - excellent value for money!! Live music in the cellar bar was also a lovely feature - nice to relax in the bar after busy days sightseeing. Only criticism was that the room did not have a bath - would have been good to have been able to have a soak - especially having been soaked with the typical Irish rain!!! Would highly recommend this hotel and would certainly return.

Spotless room, Lovely. Only gripe was that the shower tray appeared blocked. Told receptionist in the morning who agreed to see to it.One small point. Breakfast was included in the price but in fact this was only a continental breakfast. Te full breakfast costs â¬7.5 extra.. having saidthat the continental breakfast was very good.I would stay there again

Excellent location for sightseeing/shopping/eating. Bit tricky navigating one way system but made it. Very limited parking outside hotel, had to use expensive mulitstorey close by - a discount for hotel users would have been appreciated. Inclusive breakfast good. Staff courteous and helpful.
