They called our room to make sure everything was OK with the room and if we needed anything. It was a little further of a walk to the Inner Harbor thenI would liked, but overall great!

Close to the Inner Harbour area. Comfortable rooms with basic kitchen facilities. Bonus for this hotel was the laundomat room excellent for longer stays very reasonably priced $1 to wash and $1 to dry, good gym and pool. Plenty of restaurants and even a supermarket at the back of the hotel.

Staff was very helpful and friendly. The rooms were clean and the bed was very comfortable. Liked the location...about a 3 block walk to the White House. One block to the Metro. We enjoyed the restaurant...the food was very good. Would stay again.

JUly the 4th, Donwtown Inner Harbor activities and fireworks...visited the Nat. Aquarium and Balt. WTC Observation post...the hotel was a great base camp. Only one thing needs be addressed,... the beds in my room were too soft.

Clean, friendly, knowledgeable about dining and attractions outside the tourist trap areas. CNN, MSNBC,but noFOX news, noDVD player or Ipod plug in.

The hotel was delightful. Joanne at the front desk was a real gem. We were upgraded to a suite at no extra charge and we were close to the inner harbor. Would stay there again.

the hotel was great for location to inner habor and camden yard for the ball game. if your a red sox fan you would have alot of company. the restauant in the hotel (tugs) was great.

Good value based on Priceline price. $25.00 for valet parking charged to guest. Hotel staff needs to brush up on their English. It's a steep price ($25.00) to charge a guest of the hotel for valet parking.

Because of having surgery early in morning we stayed at this hotel for 2 nights. Johns Hokins booked the room for us because of specials. Parking was quoted at 15.00 per day. After stay and were billed 50.00 parking for 2 days and after speaking later with manager nothing was resolved. Said that was for self parking and no one ever discussed that with us. 25.00 a day to park at this inadequate hotel was a joke. Rooms were also dingy and dark. Hotel is very old and dirty and in need of remodeling....it surely has been awhile if at all. Just a very bad experience and I would never stay here again or reccomend this hotel to anyone Shuttle was aso not available when we needed it.

Me and my friends went to baltimore for the weekend found this nice hotel but unfriendly staff. Staff in the deli was suupperrr rude to us. Staff dont' greet you. This was the worst service I ever had. We are definitely not going back.

From their web page :Hotel amenities include a 24-hour fitness center, free transportation to area attractions, saunas, locker rooms, seasonal outdoor pool, valet parking, and tour and ticket assistance. Dining options include an on-site restaurant, and a deli.I asked fore transportation to the convention center 5 days in a row and not once was the shuttle available. I finally shamed the driver on the last day to give me a ride to the convention center. I ended up either catching a taxi everyday or walking between the hotel and the convention center - @ 1 mile away.

The rooms were very spaceous. The kitchenette was a good amenity for our five night vacation in Baltimore. The location was perfect for walking to various locations and a good place to take day trips to Annapolis and D.C.

I loved the space in the suites, we had nine people in our party. It's outdated, needs a remodel. This hotel needs a remodel, and then it would be perfect. The valet fee adds $25 per night per room. We had 3 rooms, that was an extra $150 that was never mentioned. We were traveling with three young children, including my 4 year old nephew who is in the later stages of cancer, so the parking garage was not an option.

My wife and I were on a short vacation to sample Baltimore's crabs and seafood after years of living in Florida. Hotel is centrally located and within walking distance of most attractions as well as a variety of public transportation options. We stayed in a studio suite which was very large and clean, with 2 queen size beds, small separate kitchen, comfortable sitting area and bathroom with tub/shower, hair dryer and quality toiletries. Towels were plentiful and new and the beds were excellent, with duvets and choice of pillows. Vehicular access, even for check-in and valet parking, is poor and causes delays. Check-in was efficient and valets were excellent during our stay. The $25 per night valet parking fee is high, but few alternatives exist. Housekeeping was very good, although they neglected to empty waste baskets on two occasions and we had to ask for shampoo which had been forgotten in bathroom. The small refrigerator in the kitchen did not work, which we didn't realize when we put food in, but maintenance took care of the problem quickly. Air conditioning was very quiet and worked well; and exhaust fan in the bathroom would be most welcome. A room service tray with dirty dishes from another room was left in the hall opposite the elevators for almost two days, although housekeeping must have fallen over it many times. Although somewhat older, hotel is very well maintained and clean throughout. Fitness club, pool, locker rooms and guest laundry were spotless. Supervisors and managers always present and extremely helpful

We were very disappointed with the hotel!!! We reserved a bed with 2 queen beds and I notified the hotel that we would be checking in late. Upon our arrival at 11:30pm, we were informed that they didn't have any rooms with 2 beds available. When I showed them the confirmation print-out I received from Orbitz they stated that reserved is not the same as guaranteed. After much argument, it became clear that there was nothing they were willing to do for us except provide a roll a bed at no charge. The extra bed was brought to the room at about 12:45am without a pillow or blanket. As we did not have these items in the room, we had to contact the front desk. It took another 35 minutes for these to be delivered to the room. The rooms are spacious but need updating. The elevators are very slow. The phones in our room were not working properly. The automated wake-up call system did not work. The hair blow dryer in the bathroom did not work.
