| Treasure Beach Hotel is a great place to stop on your way around the island. We had the hotel to ourselves for two of the three days that we stayed. The room was very basic no frills, but clean with a spectacular views! The food, at least the Jamaican Breakfast, was fantastic, we ate it every morning while our son, 9yrs, had his favorite, pancakes. The pools were open and served there purpose. The gardens were very pretty with lots of lizards, but none, thank god, were in the room! For a nice lunch or dinner we suggest Jack Sprat which is walking distance from the hotel either beachside or roadside. Also take a boat trip to Pelican Bay, it is a nice treat. The beach sand on the south side is darker and courser. We would definitely stay again. |

| the hotel was astonishingly gorgeous! the gardens are incredible the pools were majestic the ocean view was amazing. I could have done without the ants and lizards. there was no running water in the room most of the time (only a problem in ocean view rooms not in garden rooms) the resteraunt was expensive but the others near by are VERY cheap and good. the staff is inexperienced and sometimes try to take advantage of exchange rates and tourist fears, but the town is extremely safe and absolutely inviting to tourists at all times of the day and night |
