The staff was friendly. Unorganized, poor management, job training needed. The people who work here are nice, however they do not know how to run a hotel. After calling several times before I left to make sure our room was correct, we arrived and it was not. We were placed in another room for the night that was not clean. Then had to hound the management for our correct room the next day. We wasted half the day at the hotel waiting for them. The maids asked for tips. The hotel smelled and was damp. It was a terrible place to stay.

My brother and I stayed at this hotel for one night. They had advertised a AAA discount, but when I got to the hotel they informed me there was no discount and everything was charged at a flat rate. However the couple behind me had a coupon that they were able to use to get a discount. Not right. At 9pm the fire alarm went off. The hotel staff did not notify us that it was a false alarm, they did not answer the front desk phone as their emergency procedure detailed. We packed our things and left the hotel room as quick as possible, only to meet another hotel guest that stated it was a false alarm. The alarm continued to go off for another hour. For this inconvenience we were not offered any additional discount off our "flat rate." Aside from all this, the room was damp, there were small stains on the sheets and bugs in the room. I asked about food nearby, where I could go with my 12 year old brother, and were advised to go to the cajun "restaurant" up the street. We went to the cajun restaurant, which was actually a biker bar and my brother was mooned. Who would send a 12 year old here? Clearly not the brightest crayons in the box working here.

Very clean. The room seemed small because of the furniture but very comfortable. The staff was courteous and professional. Everything I needed was in the room or a few feet within the room. Excellent stay.

Decent price, but had stain on one of the sheets. The hotel double charged for room, and every time travel agency called to ask them about it, they gave the run around asking to call back. Travel agency ended up helping me and treated me right though the whole service. I will definately will use travel agency again after their generocity of their customer service.

The price. The bathroom shower curtain was dirty and it was vey small. I have been to this hotel about a couple years back and it's was very nice and clean. Thats why I choose to stay at this hotel. I was shock on how much it has change. I will stay there again for the price, but not any time soon.

We arrived very late. The hotel rooms open to in interior hallway, more secure. Beds comfy, no bugs, room was very clean. The staff was very friendly. They forgot our wakeup call, but did not hassle us about getting out on time either. Good job for this kind of a hotel. We used it as a stop over to Florida

the room had ants everywhere. they were in the beds and bathroom. we received a refund and moved to another hotel.

Location and accessibility to nearby facilities. On the first day of my two days stay, my key was deactivated. The first day went to visit Columbus, forgot something and came back to the room and found an old man checking my room. Stated he thought I have left for good, even when I have asked for two days stay. After my trip to Columbus, I came back around 8:30 pm and my key for the room has been deactivated because they thought that I have already left the hotel. I was uncomfortable when I saw the man entering the room because it was not even the service person, but hated when the key did not work and I had to wait longer before entering the room to rest.

The location was close to the interstate and the breakfast was great! The room wasn't completely clean and they overcharged by card. We went to Wild Adventures and needed a quick/cheap place to sleep. It worked for that purpose. The bed was hard, the breakfast was partially unstuck, and there was a dirty towel in our room on arrival. I would stay again for this purpose, but no other reason.

Leaving. Rooms small & congested/distasteful odor. This Lodge had people loitering on outside, very small and congested, staff somewhat courteous, rooms stuffy and uncomfortable.

It was not clean and had bugs everywhere in my room. The room was not clean and had termites flying everywhere in the room. I pulled back the sheets and there was hair and small pieces of trash on them. The TV was fuzzy and the lights from the building shinned into my room all night. I though it was daylight every time I awoke. Also all the room doors had the room numbers written in pencil outside of the door. That showed me what to expect before I even opened the door to the room. The manager did give us another room which was a little cleaner.

Economical. Beds. Agood value hotel was clean and had good customer service. Had decent cable channels and close restaurants, however the pool was empty and unusable leaving a bored 15 year old.

Good free continental breakfast. Nothing bad to say at all.

Easy access from interstate. Our reservation was incorrect. We only received one bed and our kids had to sleep in the floor. No other non smoking rooms were available. It seemed nice. It was an average low rate hotel. Our room seemed clean and the shower was roomy and had great water pressure. The hallways did smell of cigarette smoke, but our room did not. The breakfast was nice but seemed somewhat unorganized.
Date of Stay:

Nothing-I liked nothing. Reeked of cigarette smoke, shower was plugged, I could not give my toddler a bath, room was tiny, bed was lumpy, and the lighting was so poor could not see the floor. Iwould not recommend to my worst enemy.

February, 2008
Close to interstate. Room smelled terrible & coffee pot never worked. It was extremely noisy with people hollering & running in hallway. People in next room were up all night banging around & talking loudly so we never slept. I called front desk & no one answered. People were outside the hotel all night yelling & carrying on. I will never stay there again.

Location. Lost reservation, didn't have right room, bad parking, poor staff, cramped room. Staff needs retraining, room crasmped and very difficult to get to from parking with any luggage at all. Staff not interested in getting it right the first time. Had called in advance to ensure room right- boy they really messed up because they weren't going to place in room as ordered and confirmed.
Date of Stay:
January, 2008
Staff was good to deal with. No elevator to the 2nd floor. Good for an over night stay for the price. Elevator not working made getting to 2nd floor a challenge. Staff did offer to help.
Date of Stay:
May, 2007
The location. It looked like a kid cleaned the room and made the beds. There was no microwave in the room. I would recommend this hotel to someone who might be traveling alone and that would not be staying for a long period of time.
