visited family. The room was small but very clean. The breakfast service was wonderful. Also, the staff went overboard in printing the boarding pass for us and they were very friendly. We didn't know there was a train track so close to our room. It was a little noisy through the night.

The room. The morning breakfast needed more and the breakfast lady was annoyed at having to refill things. She kept banging the cabinets. Good for the money.

The staff could be friendlier, but the hotel it self not bad if you are just going to sleep there. And by the way there is a train track on the other side of the street that we were not aware of.

Clean, pleasant decor. Friendly staff. Breakfast was okay, rather lacking. It was fine for what we needed. Room small, but since we weren't planning to spend much time in the room it was fine. Near train tracks so you could hear trains throughout the night.

We came up towards Auburn last month for a relaxing night away. The train we had read about in one review was nothing compared to the paper thin walls. Between excessive activity above us, loud snoring to one side and a couple arguing across the hall, we didn't get much sleep at all. The beds are the worst we've ever slept on, rock hard. So don't let the very nice entrance and nice clean rooms fool you. That was the only pleasing point I will say was good. If all Travel Lodges are like this, we won't be there.

This was an overnight to save us driving back from Emerald Downs horseracing. GREAT location - you can see the track from the rooms. Not their fault but the property is build by the side of a main railroad track so it may bother some people, when the train goes by. For the price and the breakfast, its worth it - I happen to like the sound of trains!

The room we stayed in did not look like any of the rooms on their website. I was barely big enough to fit the bed with a little room on each side. Their website states that their are irons and ironing board in each room and we did not have one. I called the front desk and my husband had to go down and pick them up. The ironing board was a small one you sit on a counter and with very limited counter space it was very hard to use it. The TV was small and sat up high about the closet. Breakfast was okay, but nothing to brag about. I would not recommend this hotel.

The travelodge was comfortable and was kept well clean. Cleanness is important tome because I have a son and wont bring my son to a dirty place. only thing was there mircowave was broke.

The location was close to everything. The bed was too hard; heater vent cover kept falling off when I walked by it. For a no-frills stay, this was fine. I wish there had been a food delivery service arrangement with local restaurants.

I paid for my trip on Travel online and the hotelk charged my client again!!!!!!! this was really embarrasing for me as an executive!!!!!!!!!! the room was DIRTY and the SERVICE I AM TOLD IS DIRTY AS WELL!!!!!!!!!!!! DONT STAY HERE!!!!!!!!!! TIM RUPE Exectutive Manager

Motel is located next to highway, airport, and cargo rail line. Train horns blow until late into the night. I will not ever stay here again.

The continental breakfast needed some more attention. Lobby was nice, the desk staff was very friendly and athe rooms were clean and neat, standard basic functional for that level hotel. However, one of the beds in my room had dirty sheets on it. they ahd not been changed. Fortunately the other one was unused and I slept there.

If you are looking for a hotel that is OKAY and the price is cheap then this is for you. As most of the hotels in the entire area were booked this was my last choice, and for the price I couldn't really complain. However, if I had my choice I would not stay here again.

Every thing was great, except for one thing. As we got to the 3rd floor we noticed a smell of cigarette smoke. Since all the rooms up there are no smoking we wondered why it would smell. Then we realized, every time we went downstairs the employees where standing at the front door smoking. Our assumption was that the smoke was going into the hotel and drifting up to the third floor. Just to check I walked down to the 2nd floor and it also had the smell. luckily our room didn't smell. One other small thing, someone (previous guest?) must of thought it would be funny to turn off the cold water to the sink. The noise was so loud it woke up the people next to us. Thankfully that were understanding.

Railroad tracks right outside our room, extremely poor lighting in the room, we were placed in a handicapped room which we hated. I would not stay here ever again.

Breakfast provided with room. Room too small. Both rooms were adjoining but not with our other guests. Both the adjoining rooms attached to our rooms were given to someone else.

My family was on a house hunting trip to relocate, it was a good move & we were excited. I made and paid for the two room reseveration online. When we arrived at 10pm the 20somthing desk clerk checked us in w/out a problem, I thought but was wrong. Our room was down the hallway from the lobby and once in the phone rings. The front desk clerk informs me she billed my credit card for the entire two night stay because she was confused about the online billing and didn't think I paid online. I went to speak to her and instead of asking to see my reciept printed from my computer showing that I paid in full she took it upon herself to bill my cc! She said her manager told her to do it if she was not sure the bill was paid. I was upset and asked for her managers name and told her I would speak to the manager in the morning. I don't recommend staying here for the lack of consideration to the customers is disturbing. I noticed I wasn't the only customer upset either. Thanks for reading.
