What are your breakfast options?: Our hotel offers a complimentary deluxe continental breakfast which includes 3 types of bread for toast, 6 types of bagels with cream cheese, cinnamon rolls, fresh seasonal fruit, hard boiled eggs, yogurt, 3 types of cold cereal, instant oatmeal, 2 types of fruit juice, coffee, tea, hot chocolate, 2% and skim milk.

There are also several restaurants nearby. Two of the restaurants (both within a block) are open for breakfast: Bugsy's Bar and Grill (prices start at $7.95 and go up from there) and Herons at the Bayside; there is also a McDonalds about a block and a half away as well.
What transport is available to get around?: There is a taxi company in town for the shorter trips, anything longer we would suggest hiring a shuttle company (ie to airports, ferries, etc). There is a city bus with limited routes and times, but it does go to Nanaimo as well. During the summer there is a free shuttle bus that goes from the end of our driveway to the downtown area and as far as Rathtrevor beach (10 minute
drive), which is a major attraction as well.
What can I do nearby?: Entertainment and attractions nearby include:
*Parksville Beach - 10 minute walk to beach access or a 5 minute drive to the community park
*Lions Water Park - in the community park - 5 minute drive
*Bumper Boats and Mini Golf - right across the street
*There are also several shops in the downtown area which is about a 15 minute walk/5 minute drive
*Coombs market (Goats on the Roof), with all of their shops and artisans, is about a 15 minute drive away.
*Coombs Rodeo grounds have events throughout the year and is about a 15 minute drive.
*Milner Gardens is a 10 minute drive.
*Englishman River Falls is a 15 minute drive.
*Top Bridge Park is a 10 minute drive.
Do you have internet?: We do have wireless internet in all of our rooms. We also have 4 rooms with hard wired internet. There is no charge for access. There is also a guest computer available in the lobby at no charge.
