Good location to visit Zoo and Downtown, Good price.

Staff was friendly. 1st room was smoking and stunk. If you are an industrial worker that doesn't mind waking at 5 am and smokes this is the place for you.

beautiful hotel, if u like bugs and roaches on the bed and microwaves. the beds are uncomfortable. check the comforters for stains all the time. it was unbelievable. this hotel should be shut down. we checked out within 4 hours and found another hotel to to stay. there were other people in the lobby complaining about the same thing and checking out as well. i would never stay here again. the staff wasn't that bad though.

The Travel Lodge was a great experience and it was not far from downtown but it was far enough for peace and quite time. The room was spacious and comfortable. I liked having a microwave and refrigerator in the room also. The staff was friendly and provided us with eateries around the Harvey area.

Nothing. Everything. This hotel was dirty. The bed was very uncomfortable and the pillows were thin as a piece of paper. I have nothing good to say about my stay at this hotel other than it was affordable. Although, the toilet had great flushing power.

We stayed here for jazz fest and loved it. It fit all of our needs and was low budget. Room had fridge/microwave which was nice. The hotel seemed safe and was located near several big shopping centers. The entire hotel was fenced in which made us feel safe about the car and a secuirty guard was seen two out of the three nights we returned. The hotel was a great place to stay for our trip (we werent in there that often) and the staff was very friendly. We will definitly stay here agian.

Check in was cool they allowed me to check in early due to the fact that I arrived in the am from my travel. However when I went to clean up and stuff I found that the toilet was very loose from the floor and I about fell. Then I noticed that on the floor was a roll of tissue that had been used to soak up water that had been evedently due to the toilet off the floor. I notified the office and they wanted to come and fix it but I didnt feel that it was an appropriate thing to do while I was staying there with water every where and all. I also asked that they not come in my room while I was staying there and if I needed something I would ask. They agreed. The next day while I was gone they went in the room after asking them to refrain from doing so. I have in the past had things stolen and stuff so I really don't like that and feel intruded upon. then that morning I went to make coffie and had luckely looked inside the coffie pot where you put the water. Inside was personal hair from private areas. I had to thouroughly clean out the coffie pot to find mildew in the pot itself. Then on several occation while I was trying to sleep I couldn't because these people kept hanging out on the balconey right in front of my door on the cell phone talking all loude and stuff. Other than all this my stay was well.

Small bathroom, uncomfortable beds and small room. The room left a lot to be desired. The beds were small and uncomfortable. The air unit did not cool the room down, the bathroom was extremely small. The toilet kept having to be fixed before we could flush. We were only in the hotel a few hours that night and a couple the next morning, so I guess it's ok for that, but not a long stay.

Upon arriving to the hotel it seemed like a seen from a third world country. The hotel was very dirty and it is used as an apartment for construction that are helping to repair New Orleans. The tenants hang out and drink all night. We were given room 411, which to my surprise had dirty linen and Air Conditioning problems. We complained and was given room 413 and the bathroom was dirty with urine on the toilet and floor and the tub was filthy. xxx the front desk clerk did what he could to help, but I told him it was no way that we could rest in a place like this. It was like a truck stop.

well i was there for 4days and never did my room get clean. I had to ask for new bath towels, and I had to go down and get them myself.

inexpensive Service: never got beds made, and had hard time getting clean towels. Well, you can't expect much for the price, so it wasn ok, just could have improved on service.

The location description is entirely wrong. This motel (not hotel) is very far from the downtown, at least a half hour taxi ride across the Mississippi. Or you can take the ferry. The area has very little in the way of places to eat. After one night I moved to a hotel which really is within (safe) walking distance of the downtown. It was the Barron plaza on Barron street and is was great, much better than this one.

run down hotel, a bunch of hood looking guys all over which made it scarey to walk down the halls to you room or anywhere. Thank goodness my boyfriend was with me. The next morning we got out of there as soon we could.

Dirty, no room service and unsafety. This hotel was worst hotel in my life. A door was broken. Hotel area was unsafe area. Everytime police visited the hotel. the room is dirty. They provide just 2 small towels. They didn't clean the room for 3 day. They need pest controller.

The entire hotel was without water, and another guest came into the lobby while I was checking in and said she found a KNIFE in her bed that had been made, as well as dirty restrooms, and trash under her bed. Gross!!"

nothing Dirty, ghetto area, breakfast was a loaf of bread, the worst experience; No public transportation other than a bus and it wasnt the best area.

When we tried to check in on our first night, we were asked to wait five minutes because of a shift change. (It was 11p.m. at night.) Five minutes turned into about twenty-five, while the girl who was supposed to begin working got into a shouting match with someone that we could only assume was her boss. The conversation ended with a You can't fire me 'cause I quit! and eventually the girl who was waiting to be relieved took mercy on us and checked us in. It was rather exhausting and late by then. The next night we returned even later, to find that our room key no longer worked. We woke up the person on duty and he gave us a new key, but it kind of worried us that he didn't ask us for any form of identification. Other than that the hotel was okay, maybe about what you could expect in that price range.

The staff was generally friendly. Dingy rooms, horrible location, shuttle did not run. The Travelodge West bank hotel is not the place to stay if you want to save money in New Orleans. The amount I paid in cab fare to and from this hotel to New Orleans would equal a stay at much nicer hotel near the heart of the city. The rooms were dingy, not well maintained, with absolutely no frills. If you're looking for a cheap place to rest your head and nothing else, this could fit the bill. Also, the staff was courteous most of the time.

It was less expensive. It was in a very unsafe part of town and they charged us a 2 dollar security fee for a night watchman. This hotel was in a bad section of town and the room had a funny smell to it.They charged $25 fora refridgerator and microwave. It was a 1 star hotel so I wasn't expecting a ton. But a clean, nice smelling room in a safe section of town should be a must.
