What are your breakfast options?

We have a deluxe continental breakfast starting at 6:00am and ending at 10:00am. It includes yogurt, hard boiled eggs, fresh fruit, bagels, toast, cereal, hot oatmeal, muffins, as well as coffee, tea, hot chocolate and both apple and orange juice. It is served buffet style in our new breakfast room.

What can I do nearby?

There is a variety of entertainment close to our location. We are a 10 minute walk into the downtown core of Nanaimo where there is boutique shopping, restaurants and museums, including our famous Bastion. Our beautiful waterfront walkway is just across the street and provides a more scenic route into downtown. We are also a 15 minute walk from the Casino Nanaimo.

Do you have internet?

We have free wireless internet throughout the hotel. Some rooms have wired internet access but not all so it must be requested when making the reservation if required.

What transport is available to get around?

We are very close to the city centre, only about a 10 minute walk, but there are also taxis and buses available. There are two bus stops within a block of our hotel, one heading North to the malls, and one heading South to the main bus terminal where a connector bus can take the passenger all over town.

The airport is 25-30 minutes South of our location and an airport shuttle is easily hired from the Front Desk. We do not have our own shuttle, but one can be called the day before departure to set up a pick-up time.

The beaches are a little trickier to get to. From the hotel, a guest would either have to take a bus heading North to Country Club Mall then transfer to a bus heading down to the beaches or take a taxi, which would be much faster but a little pricey.

Do you provide parking?

We do have parking on location. It is free of charge while staying at the hotel but we do charge $3.00(+GST) a day if a guest would like to leave their vehicle in the lot after they have checked out.
