We booked reservations for two nights at this hotel. I could have sworn we read good reviews on it somewhere. Anyway, the room smelled bad, beds were hard and we all got up in the morning with backaches, ther e was a dirty towel left on the back of the bathroom door and one of the lights was burned out. We checked out a day early and into a better place for our second night. Don't waste your money here!

You'd be better off staying at one of the numerous local hotels.

After 5 days of camping in RMNP I wanted to ensure I got a good night sleep before driving back home. The room was clean and quiet which is what I wanted. The Travelodge Bear decor bordered on disturbing but did not keep me awake. The coin operated laundry was a great plus after camping 5 days. The pool was heated allowing the kids to swim at 8:00 at night (although the lighting around the pool could have been improved). Overall, the motel was pricey (given the few amenities) but got the important things (quiet and clean) right.

I would not stay here again if it were free! This is my second time staying at a Travelodge. I can say now this was my last. The staff did not speak to me at all, except during booking in. I was told it was a non-smoking room but it stank of smoke. I was told it was a queen bed, it was a double.

While the cleanable parts (e.g. bathroom, sink) were clean, the room smelled musty. We attribute it to the rug. Adequate for the one-night we stayed but I regret not spending more and going elsewhere.

This was very over priced for the quality of room we stayed in. We could have stayed at a local bed and breakfast for less money. The bed was very uncomfortable. I will not stay at this hotel again.

The Travel Lodge is a good hotel for a cheap stay in Estes Park. The service was welcoming but it is a basic hotel. Everything was clean, easy parking allows good access to rooms.

We checked into the Holiday Inn about 12:00am - only one person working the desk. He was extremely unhelpful, the gentleman had placed myself & my spouse into a double bed which we had not requested, and stated that he could not give us anything else, and did not have time to look at all because he was busy. Secondly, we have not been to that area before, we had asked for places to go to, he would not say anything but everything is closed. We beg to differ, as we went out to the downtown area, and there were a few bars open which is exactly what we were asking for. The next day which was quite busy due to High school Graduation which is why we were there. We spoke with the Desk Manager and discussed our problem the night prior. He asked if we could give him a few minutes. Come 5 minutes later, he had found a room with a king bed, along with giving us a suite for the troubles we had incurred the night before. He was very helpful and friendly, which ended up making our trip a success.
