After trying to set our broken alarm clock in our cramped and stinky room, we decided to ask for a wake up call so as to not miss our early morning flight. The call never came and we missed our flight by 4minutes. The front desk attendant assures us the call was made and that the phone must not be working-UNACCEPTABLE. I will never stay at Travelodge again.

Location, convenience. Starting to get run down. Good location, close to shopping center, easy access in and out. The exterior and some parts of the interior are getting run down. The hotel as a whole serves as a good stop for one night stays with or without a family. Attached Smittys restaurant was good and convenient.

Despite the previous reviews, we found this hotel quite comfortable. The rooms were clean and the staff were friendly. The waterslide was a great source of entertainment for our children! Even better, there is a restaurant right onsite.

Close to West Edmonton Mall. The parking lot was filthy, with garbage and oil drippings on the pavement from the restaurant.

The staff was NOT helpful. We got to our room and all doors were dirty from the floor up. The bathroom I wouldn't take my shoes off to shower, stains on the carpets, crud and dirt dripping from walls and ceiling. We sat on the bed and the matress was higher on each side of us. We went to the desk and told them we were leaving and we had to pay to leave cos we had sat on the bed!! Complained to head office and got our money back that was the only good thing about the hotel. Needs to be bulldozed and start with a whole new building.

My husband and I had slept in many hotels in Edmonton on business. This one was by far the worst. The walls were turned yellow....bathrooms and bed was dirty. I slept on top of the sheets.

The elevator felt jolt which made me take the stairs in case it was unsafe. Small rooms but clean.

My children, ages 18 and 23 stayed at this hotel and were disappointed in everything about the stay from start to finish. Their room location was the worst (positioned at the elevator), though better located rooms were available. The room was tiny and cramped. One of my children found bugs in the bed and was bitten by them. My kids asked for fresh linens and none were provided. They asked for wash cloths and none were delivered nor available for pick up. The service and attitude of employees was poor.

stolen credit card number which has been used since. One room was reimvbursed back, but the card had not been encryted as advertised. Also has my home town name wrong. Needs a head office number available for complaints

Smelly. Very bland colour, not bright but boring. Not modern, poor colours and not vibrante enough.

Wow....how disgusting. I couldn't get out of there fast enough. Our peep-hole in the door was missing, so there was just a hole, the door looked like someone had tried to kick it in, and guys yelling and cursing in the halls.

Loved smoking in the room Looks a bit old and run down.

I did not like any thing about this hotel. Everything. This hotel is one of the worst disgusting, cheap rundown, dirty, unsafe small single rooms made to look like double rooms. It was unkept, the elevator had not been serviced or maintained since 2006. The doors to the rooms were not sealed for even safety, ice machines were there but they never gave ice, No free breakfast but you had to pay at a Smitty's, there was waterpark but children were being cut on sharp objects, coffee machines were nowhere to plug-in, do not stay at the Travel Lodge for even one night, it ruined our whole weekend!
Date of Stay:

It was close to the West Edmonton Mall. The room was small, our room did not get cleaned on the 3rd day and they did nothing to compensate us for it. The room was very small. The pool was very crowded and there were no towels available at the pool. The room was not cleaned at all on one of the days that we were there. They told us that the Do Not Disturb sign was on the door, but we left the room at 10:00 a.m and removed the sign. They didn't seem to believe us.

"Needs a major reno. Waterslides where cold, rooms were way too small for a family. Pets are aloud so prepare for a dog to bark in the middle of the night."

Receptionists were very nice and friendly. Small room, no fridge, mold on ceiling above shower. This hotel did have some of the facilities that other hotels have. There was no fridge in the room and mold on the ceiling above the shower. The room was very small but overall good enough if you weren't going to be spending any time in the room.

"This place is only good if you are going to party. It is dirty, stains on the floor, beds are warped and saggy. In fact we paid to leave!! You definitely get what you pay for!!!"
Date of Stay:
August, 2008
Hotel was in a great location and easy to get to. Needs an update in carpets and decor. Hotel had a pool that seemed to be used by families, the location was central to the West Edmonton area, and food and shopping.
