Cheap price equals cheap stay. Restaraunt opens late...even later than posted time. I got bit by something and it's infected a week later. Staff was rude....NO HOT WATER. Seriously, like 3 minutes in the shower and 2 hours later still only cold. Glad I was the first of three in. more and I could have had a free breakfast with the room at the Holiday Inn almost next door.

This was just an overnight stay close to the airport so we could get to the airport early in the morning easily. Shuttle service was excellent to/from airport. The room was clean and normally quiet. There must have been a birds nest outside the bathroom vent since one could hear birds chirping constantly. We closed the bathrrom door while sleeping.

Close to airport and it had a great restaurant. The lobby should be more attractive and the outlets should be tested and they should work and there should be more of them in the room.

The staff was very friendly and the transport from the airport was punctual, every 1/2 hour. The restaurant was good if a bit overpriced. Unfortunately that is the best of our stay, the pool area was in need of a cleaning, the hot tub was partially functional and hadn't been cleaned either, as we saw hair and debris in the water. The room was big enough but in desperate need of renovation. The wallpaper was peeling and mildewed, there were stains of various sorts on the chair, and the bathtub had been replaced by a smaller one. We recognized the replacement since the gaps on the floor were not filled in and the tiles surrounding it had been damaged and not replaced. The elevators smelled very foul and overall the entire facility needed renovation. A final note if you choose this hotel, make sure that you bring your paid registration with you as they tried to charge me again for a room that I paid for when booking.

Bed, TV, and furniture were good quality for the price. Needs renovations. A good for a short stay in Vancouver. May be in need of renovations, but quality of staff and service more than make up for that.

shuttle arriving on time. No mess in check-in. I get what an airport hotel for transit can offer, and comparing with other Travelodge I have been in the States, Toronto and LONDON, I would not hesitate to rank this one top five in my list. The bedroom is nicely presented: no gimmicks, no flamboyance. You get all the necessary urban convenience of an airport hotel. Spacious bathroom with jet splashing shower experience. Toiletries surpasses the standard of a three star hotel. The armchair in my room is a plus to me, since I have stayed in many a compact room in other trips with only a small canal for passing my body between bed and wall. For enhancement, may I suggest to provide tootbrush and paste, relocate the ice vendor machines (going to the lobby to collect ice deters intentions), and provide deli food or simple microwavable meals for those arriving after 11 p.m. , of course, chargeable. Or install meal vendor machines in the lobby as an added value to those who pay and stay.

I toured Vancouver and nearby Victoria. The carpet is not that well vaccumed and there are some long hairs in the tub! One of the staff is kind of snubbish, lack in some sense of hospitality! This is not even at par compared to other hotels I stayed.

While we were in the Vancouver area for a vacation, we had a strict itinerary to adhere to so did not use hotel's facilities except for sleeping.We are always a bit surprised at the high cost of Vancouver (British Columbia) hotels as compared to those in the US as just accross the US Canadian border in Bellingham, Washington, (and to compare the same sized city, in Seattle) rooms are 1/2 the cost, many starting at 56.00 a night for the same type of room.

Good place to sleep near airport, but try to get a room away from elevators-loud hallway noise. Free shuttle to airport-great. Staff helpful, spacious bathroom. Restaurant staff needs to be more attentive/quick, food was good. Internet available in room for 10; worth it.

The hotel was perfectly suitable for what we needed - a last-minute stay overnight when unexpectedly stuck. Free parking was appreciated, and the front desk clerk was friendly and helpful. Orbitz price significantly less than elsewhere, including calling the hotel directly. FYI. Hotel rooms and hallways fairly typical of Travelodge - nothing special, just a clean-ish, safe place to sleep.

The view and the large size of the room. Staff was not very friendly when first checking in. My check in process was met by some attitude from the front desk staff, but the room itself exceeded my expectations. We were on the top floor of the hotel with a beautiful day & night view of Richmond and Grouse Mountain, and the room itself was very spacious. It even had a couch! The bed was firm and pretty comfortable to sleep on. The front desk was a little more friendly to us after our first night of stay, so it could just be they were having a bad day. The lobby area was somewhat muggy, but overall this hotel was convenient to stay in and a good deal for the money.
