This is a family-friendly hotel with very good facilities given its price range. The setting is very quiet and the proprietors emphasize keeping the hotel quiet at night. The wi-fi worked fine in my room, and there's a computer in the main lounge for guests' use.

Shower heads too low. It's not the fanciest hotel. Accommodations are pretty sparse-no pool, and the free breakfast didn't have a lot of selections. But, we basically used the room for sleeping and showering and it was fine for that.

Its a good basic hotel. The staff was very helpful and courteous.

The Travelodge Valley Fair was convenient for our New Years Eve plans at the local casino. Very reasonable price since there was no pool or fitness center and we didn't need them, so nice to not have to pay extra. We were not able to adjust the thermostat, but the temperature of the room was comfortable. The double beds were a little more firm than I like. My only real gripe was that the maids were cleaning (vacuuming) a room next to ours at 9am with the door open, so this woke us up much earlier than we had planned.

Convenience of access to concert at Mystic Lake. We didn't hear any outside room noises that were disturbing to our stay.

The front desk clerk made me wait while she took a personal phone call. The wireless network was n ot working the weekend we were there.

Close to Valley air. Our shower did not work. Overall the rooms were clean. Close to stores, restaurants and Valley fair. Seemed to be in a safe neighborhood.

The Travelodge was comfortable, quiet, and clean. The location was very convenient to several activities, with an ease of getting on major highways. There were a variety of eating places very close also. We had hoped to have access to a hot tub, one items we may look for in other motels in the area before returning to the area.

Excellent customer service. No coffee make in the room! This is a simple hotel equivalent to the price. But I was amazed at the customer service! I have never felt more welcome at a hotel. As long as you don't mind waking up and stumbling down to the lobby for your first cup of coffee; I highly recommend staying here.

Location. Rude staff, outdated facility, smelly room. This hotel was awful! The front desk worker was rude and was unable to answer the simplest of questions. Our room smelled like a littler box, and was decorated in 60s decor. The manager was equally rude. We left within 5 minutes of arriving because we were so disgusted with the room and the staff. Do not stay here!

Close to Valley Fair, and Perkins. It Reeked of cigarette smoke, even though our rooms were nonsmoking. Outside trash by entry door overflowing. Clean it up. The trash outside the door is uncalled for. We were there 3 days and not once was it emptied, just continued to pile up. You have to look at it every time you enter and leave the building. The smoke smell was a huge turnoff!

Good restaurant located across the street. Water pressure when taking a bath. Minor issue. It was a small and very comforting place to stay.

Everyone was very helpful and informative - finding places, services and cleanliness. Bathroom was very small-shower curtain was very clingy. Very easy to find and conveniently located, several restaurants within walking distance. Rooms were clean and roomy. Nice amenities. I would stay there again.

Good cheap hotel. Lots of cable channels. Free wireless internet. Very difficult to control the temperature of the room. Hotel is located in the heart of Shakopee about 2 minutes drive from Canterbury Park. Plenty of places to eat and several places deliver. Staff was very helpful. Its nothing super special but if you looking for a cheap place to stay, this isn't bad. The down sides: Sometimes room was not serviced, but that may be due to me not leaving room till around mid day. High speed internet may not work when you first get there. You may have to go to the lobby and get connected there to get started (Internet will work fine in your room afterwards).

The only thing good about this hotel was it's location. It was the dirtiest hotel I have ever stayed at. I will never recommend this hotel or it's service to anyone!!!!! For the price I paid, I feel it should been a better quality hotel. Very dissatisfied!!!!!!

This was not Sha kopee; it was LINCOLN, NEB... I liked the location & the bed... Staff was not "in the know" regarding Lincoln... did not follow through with assistance; unclean bathroom, etc. RE: Lincoln, NE Fairfield Inn... Initial staff could not answer questions; stated they would call my room with the answer... that did not happen. I had two Marriott gift cards - one full ($100) and one with a small balance... The staff person informed me she couldn't assure me my balance was paid "coz these cards don't always work"... not a good thing to say to someone who SELLS the cards for Marriott... more training needed!

The parking lot was nice. The bathtub did not drain and there was a large bug in the bathtub. I asked for a nonsmoking room and received a smoking room. Whatever you do don't stay here. This being a two star hotel is highly over rated. I feel that I paid too much to receive a full bed which was a queen and then the bathtub did not drain properly. (This could have been do the large bug I found in it.) Do yourself a favor and book at another hotel.
