Tourist-friendly. The hotel offered many discounts to various local attractions. The bed was uncomfortable.

The hotel is run down. Wallpaper peeling off in hallways. Rooms smell funny. Will never stay agiain.

Perfect when you need a place to stay for the night, but not really to spend time in. Clean room, comfortable beds. Easy check in and out.

Close to the facilities we were going to. Disgustingly dirty, extremely small rooms. This hotel was absolutely filthy. I had to request another room as the one I was given had brown stains all over the curtains, the carpet was stained all over and had burn holes in it, the bathroom ceiling was black with mould and mildew, the beds were decrepit, slanted and the linen was dirty. The room we received after I complained didn't have mildew in the bathroom or stained curtains, but the beds were still slanted and decrepit.

None. The toilet was clogged and the water was falling out. The toilet was clogged and the water falling out from the toilet, we can not use the wash room for the whole night, for the amount of money, it did not worth it.

Nothing. Cleanliness, comfort, location.

Convenient location. Poor room heat/AC control. Basic shower, bed and toilet.

Unclean. Dirty, stained carpets in my room & others also. Hotel need retrofitting. About the second most unacceptable hotel I have stayed in. I rate it less than 1.

The pool was close to the elevator. The facilities were old and not very clean and only one elevator worked. We stayed at Travelodge for 2 nights and there was hair on the floor when we first entered. Even on the day after, we went out during the day and came back in the evening only to find hair still on the floor after the maid cleaned the room. The pool and lobby weren't very sanitary either. Overall, our stay at the Travelodge was a bit of a disappointment. It didn't help that it wasn't located in a very good area either. The only decent thing was the restaurant that they had there. The food was a bit too greasy, but it tasted good at least.

The desk clerks were very helpful and friendly. The pool and sauna were closed when they should have been open. The hotel stay was in general very good. The restaurant wait for food was longer than usual. They were short of help i.e. waitresses.

The manager did address the room problem. I was put in a smoking room at first. I was put in a room that had no AC and rip screen in the window. I asked for another room and finally received a room that was clean with AC. I hope this doesn't happen to someone else.

Location is good. Cheaper. AC wastoo bad. Carpet too old, smoky andnot feel comfortable. nly worth to 1 star.

The hotel was small and quiet. The hotel restaurant didn't seem very attractive. The hotel was very clean, quiet and the location was perfect for where we wanted to go. The staff was friendly and our stay was very comfortable. Great accomodation!

Restaurant and pool. Location and front desk staff. I was terrified to stay here. Horrible area in the city. There was a shooting nearby that day. But I suppose the police station right next door is a safety thing. The front desk staff was not polite, check out time in the morning. Kind of a grumpy way to wake up.

It was fairly cost effective but there are better alternatives. It is not worthy of a 2* rating in my opinion. This hotel is situated beside both Holiday Inn and Comfort Inn. It offers very basic accommodation at a low price. The two adjacent properties are superior at a similar star level.

Close to York University, with all I needed in a hotel. The elevator closed too quickly on my suitcase & knocked me down. Great place for a great price.
