I was very put off that they charged me for parking! The rooms were nice and the bedding was very comfortable. I was annoyed that they charged for parking (that should be included in the price). The hours on the doorway for the pool were mislabeled and had opened 2 hours earlier than posted. No towels in the pool area either.

When we checked in, there was no parking what-so-ever. So if you are planning on, or not, checking in late you will have to pay to park either in the street or one to two blocks away. The guy at the desk wasn't too knowledgable on the parking situation. If you check in early, there is a parking pass that you can fill out and park in the hotels parking spaces(but you still have to pay for it). The room was small so there is no chance of having a roll-away. The shower is even smaller. The light fixtures and all of the fixtures in the bathroom are rusted-over and ancient. There were stains on the floor, the heater smells like burning hair. The window peered out to a mobile home which was about three feet away and into another hotels parking garage. Tricky to get to if one doesn't know Seattle. The plus side is there is a big t.v., free internet, a nice outdoor pool, good water(but still not as good as mountain water), a great view of the Space Needle from the front parking lot(as it is only two blocks away).

I expected clean rooms with comfortable beds from Travelodge. This one had dirty rooms and bathrooms that were very outdated. Beds were as worn as the sheets. Hallways were terrible and smelled as bad as the rooms. Enjoyed the free internet when it worked. This hotel needs a renovation badly, and service was fair. Location good, near Space Needle and downtown, but sort of bad immediate area.

Very close to the space needle and other tourist locations. Not much for counter space in the bathroom and the water was either scalding hot or too cold. A good little hotel. The hotel door was a little thin. We could easily hear people passing by.

Only 2 blocks from the Space Needle. We thought it was a good price, had friendly and helpful staff, nice rooms, great down comforters, good continental breakfast. The only negative is that the hotel is getting old and that shows in a few places.

I found the staff very helpful and pleasant. Hotel is close to everything although Seattle is not easy to get around but again, the staff helped. The hotel really needs some help mechanically and upgrades on physical condition in hallways etc. The breakfast room was very comfortable with nice furniture, big screen TV and fireplace. The elevators are not good, the access to ice and sodas is not available on every floor. My room was clean and comfortable.

Loved free parking. Slow season they allowed free parking for an extra car as courtesy. Nice staff and city center location! Room had a bit of water damage on one wall/saw a little bit of discoloration in paint. The curtains needed some cleaning. The hotel is about 2 blocks from the Space Needle and a bit of a walk to the center of downtown not a problem in the warmer months but you would want to drive in the winter. The clean room had comfortable beds, nice crisp sheets and the staff were awesome!

Our family of 5 visited this hotel for 1 night. The kids loved the breakfast. The location was great . We walked to the space needle, science museum, and monorail. The hotel was basic and good enough for somewhere to crash. It was satisfactory.

Front desk was not helpful at all. The location was good in that it was close to everything, but it was, basically, in a slum area. The room smelled so bad that we had to open our windows and since it was in a slum area, there were people outside all night yelling, playing loud music, etc. Awful experience.

Clean and comfy, good breakfast, helpful staff. Hot tub needs to be hotter.

I stayed at this Travelodge in February 2008 and again on September 4th. Big, Big Improvements with not only the hotel and amenities.... but the staff and new General Manager... He was so friendly, professional and from the heart that I would recommend for all my friends, family and readers to stay there. The bed is just like staying at a Marriott, yes.. Marriott... The whole feel is very morden and somewhat Boutique... Great Improvement..... I will be sure staying there again for New Years!

We choose this location because it was only two blocks from Space Needle and that's where the wife wanted to eat for her birthday. Parking is very cramped but sure beats the * to park in the area. Staff at desk were very helpful. They were able to help me with my overbooking when the Navy decided to not let my son off for the night and granted a refund. The hotel is old and run down, could use a good overhaul. I had problems using internet in the evening suspect that there system was overloaded. Pool was too cold for me to swim in but hot tub felt good. Breakfast was on the low end, had much better, but if all you want is coffee, juice and a prepackaged begal you will be happy. The location is the best the hotel has to offer.

The staff was friendly; the location was fantastic and overall clean and comfortable--free coffee in the lobby was great!

Don't be mislead by the outside of the building as this hotel has been taken over by Meridian Coast and is being upgraded. The beds and bedding were awesome and the rooms were very clean. There is still work to be done such as ensuring that the elevators work well, the ice machine does not spit ice everywhere and few other small details. Overall we were very comfortable and the staff were friendly and helpful.

Old and dirty. Desk service was very good. Location not convenient if you want to go to Wharf although taxi fare not too bad....10 or so. Holiday Inn Express is much better in same area by Needle.
Date of Stay:
May, 2008
I chose this hotel because it had free parking, moderately priced, a pool and breakfast. The rooms were very nice, not dirty at all. They said the pool was heated, I don't think it was. Also the spa was pretty cold too. Walls were too thin, I could hear everything around me. I stayed in this hotel after the remodeling. We really enjoyed our stay here. The parking was free, it is really close to the Space Needle and Sci-Fi Museum, we walked comfortably to Pikes Market. The only critiques I had were the pool didn't seem to be heated and the spa wasn't that warm, and you could hear your neighbor peeing next door. Other than that I think the hotel was very nice.

Good location. Generally very aged and unaesthetic. Really needs a lot of updating. Room was very small and the television was held together with black electrical tape. However, the hotel staff was helpful and accommodating.

April, 2008
Friendliness of the staff, cleanliness of the room, location. Undergoing construction, small room. A nice stay for the solo traveler, the desk staff was very friendly and accommodating. The proximity to the Space Needle and Seattle Center cannot be beat. A very comfortable stay.
Date of Stay:
March, 2008
The breakfast. Noisy, someone had urinated in the elevator, cords and construction equipment every where.
Date of Stay:
November, 2007
Location. Service, stuff, facility. Poor management, old facility and stuff are in bad attitude.
