Good value for the dollar. Older styling and rooms showing their age, but everything very clean. Helpful friendly staff. Smelled smokey in hallway and elevator despite being on non-smoking floor. Windows opened which is nice to cool off room. Quiet...didn't hear streetnoise. Our room was small, but OK since we were just sleeping there. Lots of parking. Great restaurant, Sawmill, just across street. Continental breakfast had yoghurt, hard boiled eggs, apples and bananas, cereal, toast, muffins, etc...more than adequate. I'd return.

Cheap clean accommodations. Teenage partiers up till 4am across the hall.

Although the place definitely needs some updates, for the price it isn't too bad. It seemed to be clean, although it may not have looked it as it needs paint and new furnishings. The staff was very friendly and helpfully. The continental breakfast was very good. Pool was extremely cold, hot tub jets worked poorly, and I doubted that any chlorine had been added to the pool. It is easy too access and in a very good location to access many of the attractions Edmonton has to offer. The whole hotel smells of smoke, so non-smokers may not enjoy it. The fitness facility appeared to be pretty good, definitely better than what I had expected. We did have some problems with our key cards needing reprogramming after the first day, but staff dealt with it really well. The alarm clock in our room also went off early in the morning when we had not set it and we were unable to turn it off. We ended up having to unplug it for our stay. Although I would likely try somewhere else if I were to stay in Edmonton again, I would stay here if I could not find something better around the same price. It certainly tarnished the Travelodge name for me.

The front desk staff was very helpful and the continental breakfast was excellent. The rooms were very dark and dingy and very outdated.

Staff was wonderful, pricing was decent. Hotel is old and run down. In need of updating decor and patching up the drywall cracks and rusted outlet covers. Breakfast was great and the hotel location was awesome. easy access to parking lot from any direction of travel. The non-smoking floor smells of smoke. I am not likely to stay here again.

Free continental breakfast. The internet was not free, and the printer was not working.

I had the worst stay in Edmonton I have ever had at the Travelodge South hotel. Returned at around 11:00 P.M., only to find that our hotel access cards would not work for our room and I needed to get into the room to use the washroom. Several minutes later we got a new access card and got into the room. Someone was smoking on the 2nd floor which was supposed to be non-smoking and I had a bad night because of the smell. I woke up rushing to get to the continental breakfast, got there at 9:31 and the door was locked and the attendant would not allow me access.

Location, easy checkin and check out. Pool area was a mess, used towels everywhere, and it just seemed run down.

The room curtains smelled of smoke. Adequate. The continental breakfast: Juices - great, coffee - passable, rest of offerings - inedible. Add things like hard boiled eggs.

Good location and friendly staff. This is not a fancy hotel, but for those look for a clean place to stay with all the amenities you need this is a good hotel at a decent price.

Reported hot water (shower) not working and still not working after our last day. The cleanliness is good but the bathroom is too old. I requested few minutes to stay before the check out time and was approved but staff still calls to make sure that we will check out by 11am. Very irritating!

The staff was very accommodating and considerate of needs. Construction going on in the early morning. I would recommend this hotel to travelers to Edmonton. Cost was satisfactory for what was provided.

It was cheap. There was no hot water and it was noisy. This is not a hotel. I will ever stay in again. The walls were so thin that we could hear everything in adjacent rooms - and this kept us up until quite late. In the morning, there was no hot water to shower with.

It was very good having huge parking area , room was simple but all need was in it. There could be mini bar. It is not bad for a short time staying for student, immigrant and small business man.
