Good for overnight stay. Staff friendly. Location near food. Far from highway.

"The hotel was under renovation. I wished that we were informed before making arrangements to stay. We were charged extra for a non-smoking room, which in my opinion, smokers should be charged more instead of non-smokers."

Quality. Exit locations. Decent. I would stay there again.

"no lights in the parking lot, i see that the management are spending a lot on renovation i wish they could invest on fitted sheet, iron and board, front desk need to wear decent clothing."

Bathrooms, floors outside bedroom, renovation of the hotel. Breakfast. Hotel was a little bit tricky to find since it was a few miles of a major highway. Hotel is currently under renovation, so there is a lot of dirt. Bathrooms were disgusting: moldy, bathtub was plastic and bended when taking a shower and it was very slippery. Some towels and bed blankets had holes in it. The floor outside the bedrooms were dirty and disgusting. Breakfast was okay, but I definitely won't stay at this hotel again.

The room locations unfortunately was in a location where the noise during the night from other guests made for a very noise night.

The staff was superb. Very friendly and helpful. The rooms are a bit small- smaller than expected. It was worth the money. I was staying there because I have family in Markham and it was very convenient. The staff was very friendly but the rooms were smaller than expected. It was comfortable but there was an odor in one of my rooms.

Staff: friendly. Bad timing: construction closed the entry nearest my room. The Knights Inn in Richmond Hill, though not close to downtown Toronto, is in a good location for restaurants and is easy to find - being on Toronto's MAIN street, Yonge. The staff knew my name at once - something most hotels dont seem able to do any more - and was helpful at all hours.

The staff was very friendly. The lobby and continental breakfast area was freezing, had to wear coat. The staff was very friendly but there was no little or no heat on in the lobby and continental breakfast area. We had to wear warm clothing as were still cold. There was construction of an extension to the hotel which may have contributed some to this. I think once the construction is complete it may be better.

Large room with a table to dine in. Parking lot was small and crimpy. Great A+ hotel. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

It might be much better hotel in coming years. I did not that the hotel is so far distance. The people of the hotel were extremely friendly.

Close to my family home. Still under construction changes. Good main road location easy to find price of rooms very reasonable.

Everything was more than I actually expected. The Towels were in the closet instead of the bathroom which threw me off at first. Seeing how it was described as under contraction and it wasn't a very upscale rating, I wasn't expecting a whole lot, but I was pleasantly surprised. Everything in the room was a lot bigger than I thought it would be and it also had a bar. Out of everyplace I stayed this summer, not only was this the largest and best hotel room, it was also the cheapest. I would recommend anyone to stay here.

I liked they we were greeted and the fact that everything was clean. The fact that it had a door to the adjacent room, we could hear everything in the other room. The staff was great. It was filthy and needed renovations. We were very satisfied by the location and the staff was very nice. The bad thing was the construction they were doing and the rooms needed sum updates.
Date of Stay:

The price and availability of the internet. The bath tub cover. The bath tub cover wasn't suitable and water was all over the place after taking shower. This costs less that 12$ for the owner. Totally for me was a good place for 1 night.
Date of Stay:
September, 2006
Decent amenities, within few miles of Toronto subway. One of the blanket had minor stains on it. Good amenities for a 1-star hotel (breakfast, free wi-fi), and located is a few miles north of the subway to downtown Toronto. However, one of the blankets in my room had some minor stains. Otherwise, it is pretty good for the money.

The price was right & they gave an extra % off restaurant. Staff didn't know much about tourism. The hotel was very clean, & the staff were very accommodating The food was excellent at the on site restaurant.

Clean and pleasant decoration with taste. It's a little too far from Downtown Toronto, especially when traffic is bad. Generally a pleasant stay. Good value for the price.

Good staff. Heavy traffic. Cheap, clean, with good staff. Few frills, A/C worked and was quiet. Older motel on very busy street. Best bargain in town if you can use its location. My daughter liked the good pillows.
