The Travelodge Pittsfield is a Chalet two story building centrally located at the intersections of 8 and 9.
The Travelodge is close to major businesses and minutes from Hancock Shaker Village. We are 1/2 hour from Tanglewood in Lennox and Brodie Mountain ski area. We are 1 & 1/2 miles from Berkshire Mall and an indoor movie theater. We are also 10 minutes form Jiminy Peak ski area.
We also provide high speed wireless internet.

Location, a fridge and microwave in room. Bugs crawling on the walls and windows. 60 bucks a night.

Friendly staff. Not very safe. The hotel was adequate as a room but someone tried to enter 2 times in the morning despite the door being bolted. They were banging on the door and trying to get in even though we said please don't enter. The front desk said it was the cleaning lady, but I'm not sure. The door frame was very loose as though this type of thing has happened before.

Nothing. The bathroom floors were dirty. The halls were littered with dust and cobwebs. I cannot say anything good about this place.

Clean, serves the purpose for a place to lay your head during a business trip, or just there to pick up your kids from camp end of summer! I was pleasantly surprised! It was clean, comfortable, quiet, and not at all the dilapidated quarters I had envisioned! Price is very reasonable and the management was kind and helpful even though we happened to be a very late check-in. If you are just looking for a place to spend the night, watch TV, relax, shower, etc in the Berkshire area, and not looking for a fancy Shmancy Hotel, this is the place! We stayed there in order to pick up our child from summer camp. It beats leaving' NYC at 5 am in the morning! I will be back next year for camp visiting day too!

Not a thing, actually. 3 tries before found a clean room with functioning key; incompetent staff. Avoid it if you can; staff is incompetent; facility is sorely in need of renovation, or razing. I can't even give it one star.

Availability. The a/c wiring was exposed, towel stuck in the vent instead of gasketing. This place has not seen upgrades since it was built in the 1960's. Only paint on the outside. The ceiling in the room needed painting. The door would not close properly and the door jam had been previously forced.

Liked nothing about this hotel. Shabby, dirty, old, depressing, located in an industrial area. Also overpriced for the quality. This was one of the worst places I've ever stayed- badly maintained in every way. Sink was dirty, sheets were too small for the bed, bathroom chrome was actually rusty. Would have gone elsewhere--even after pre-paying the outrageous price of $110 for one night in this dump- but we checked in after 11 pm and we were too tired to search. We couldn't leave fast enough in the morning.
