Nothing. Late night club connected to hotel, people outside of hotel guest on hotel property, police involved activity at hotel due to night club, etc. The cleanliness of the hotel was poor and the hotel needs to be sanitized. Conditions were so poor that my guest refused to stay a second night and traveled to Montgomery, Al, for another hotel.

My husband was staying here while working in Auburn area. While observing the cleaning staff cleaning the room I witnessed her taking the brush that cleans the toilets and clean the sink and counter with it. I was horrified. I packed my husband's things and went to another hotel. He had already stayed here for 2 weeks but had never been in the room while it was cleaned. This is a very nasty, unsafe health enviroment.

the stay at travlodge was great because of the great staff, did't have any problem in the room, provided with everything i needed, had a great variety for breakfast, the rates were excellents, and the facility and the location was very safe.

I stayed one night in this hotel in May 2007, I was originally booked for 2, but couldn't stand another night. I went down for my Sister's graduation from Auburn and we thought this hotel would be decent give the 2-star rating. After staying there one night, I don't think it deserves even 1 star. It is right next to the interstate and so all night long you can hear the trucks and cars driving by. The AC unit in the room was old and badly needed to be replaced. When it was running, it drowned out the traffic noises, this caused the problem of too much noise one way or another for me to get to sleep. The room itself was very poorly maintained. It was dirty, there were large holes in the bed sheets, no fitted sheet at all, and no alarm clock at all. The most telling feature of the room was the bottle-opener attached to the bathroom sink. This place is quite obviously only for use during football season as the only way to get any real sleep would be to pass out on the bed. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

It was right beside the interstate. I need way more that 20 words. This hotel should be closed down. First of all there was no toilet paper in the bathroom. From about 7pm until after 2am there was very loud music. I'm not talking about music you barley hear when everything is quite. I had to turn the TV all the way up just to try and drown it out enough to sleep. It didn't work because you could still hear the music over the loud TV. I called the front desk around 1am and asked if there was anything he could do about the music. He just said "No". I asked why not and he said "Because I don't own the bar." The bar is in the hotel. The point of a hotel when you are traveling is for a place to sleep. It was next to impossible to sleep at this hotel. I think people should be warned before they book this hotel that there is very loud music in the hotel bar. You are free to discuss this matter with me.

Overall the hotel was adequate but is smelled smokey and the price was certainly more than it should have been. I guess you don't get what you pay for on a ballgame weekend.

Oh my gosh!!! Awfull does not begin! My bed was covered in pubic hair and make up! I had to change rooms at 11pm. So there was several ""people"" roaming the area because of the bar there. As a single female I felt terribly unsafe. And the noise from the bar, interstate, and garbage truck at 3am made it darn near impossible to sleep. Good Luck if you choose this place!

Convenient for our needs, clean, and well run. Parking spaces were too small. This hotel was very convenient to auburn and met our needs. The price was great and we would definitely stay here again.

i stayed there during recent hurricane. we were so upset about our life. but when we came here, prices are so cheap according to the prices of all around that hotel. other hotel owner tried to make good money from that disaster. environment of travelodge was so friendly, front desk clerks are so friendly, everyday they ask for our health and last night stay.we stayed there 5 days,we felt like family members.. one thing i never forget about the last talk with a front desk clerk, at the time of leaving we gone there for reside. i told her, we will back here, when the next hurricane will come.she said, "i don't want you will come here because of hurricane,i pray in front of god,it never happen again, she said,"yes ,in future when you feel you need rest and vacation, then you will come here and stay with us.it really touch my heart. we bless here from our heart.
