The hotel was ok. The room was kind of small and it was pretty warm even with the a/c on. Location was not to bad it was only a 10 minute walk from the train.

The night staff. They lost our work mail. The hotel employees were extremely rude especially after we notified them and made them aware of an incoming package that was very important for work which they then lost.

Stayed 2 nights. Curtains were falling off the rod and and cable from the tv was falling out of the wall. One elevator was out of service for the time I was there. Upon leaving the other elevator got stuck on my way down to the main floor. Fortuately there was a housekeeping person in the elevator that knew how to pry open the doors so we could get out. There was empty pizza boxes and garbage in the hall that the housekeeping staff walked past serveral times before picking up. The ice machine on my floor was broken. I went down for my continental breakfast but found I was in a bar and no food was being served. They told me I could order room service but by this point I would be late for a meeting. The rooms were fairly clean but the place was run down and falling apart. There are nicer places to stay in Calgary for a similar cost. It was quite dark around the hotel so security could be an issue too.

our stay was wonderful. other than ""interior decorating "" the hotel was as good as a five star for us . excellent service from the staff. , great anemities, as well as location. our room was clean and confortable, although that elevator did make a lot of noise ( i recomend a room away from the elevator.)

A very good basic hotel

Location. Only one double bed in room, was horrible for 2 people. Good location, mostly work men in hotel so not great for a single women or children.

Hotel needs to be updated. Staff was less than friendly. Prefer to get more for my . The only really good thing was the computer accessability in the lobby.

The Travelodge Hotel in Calgary has a tremendous group of staff, they were extremely friendly and very helpful. They answered all my questions with the best of their knowledge and were persistent in finding a way to make me feel comfortable and made sure I had everything I needed.

Good Location. However, didn't have a clean room until after midnight. Good service at check-in. Poor Security, not clean, drunken street people walk into hotel lobby without much resistance by the staff.

If you need a clean place to lay your head with courteous staff it will do.

The hotel was quiet, clean, and served my needs quite adequitly.

Clean rooms and helpful staff. Parking was terrible. Rooms were really clean. One of the elevators was broken, terrible parking lot if you have young ones and have to carry them.

The hotel staff was not very friendly, the room was rundown and not clean. The manager did not speak english well and was not well kept. I would not stay there again unless it was free.

The Travelodge, was confortable, and it was easy to me to get to downtown, because the the Mcleod street drops you directly there. The only thing that I sugest, is to include a microwave in the room. That would be helpful. The bathroom were clean, also the linens.
Date of Stay:
August, 2008
Location. Rooms were pathetic, hotel was a dump. Would never stay at that hotel again.

the sound insulation is very poor between the rooms, I can hear clearly every sound in the room next door.
Date of Stay:
July, 2008
The bed was comfortable.

Location. The disgusting odor. I would not stay at this hotel again. I did not expect it to be fancy but I expect all hotels to be clean & odor free. I actually found an old piece of gum stuck to the side of the telephone.
Date of Stay:

Clean and comfortable. People had difficult accents to understand. Clean comfortable but clerk's accents were hard to understand.
Date of Stay:
November, 2007
It was okay, the staff wasn't friendly and very slow. The 1-hour wait to check in and out. They need to have more employees working.
