The room was clean and well presented, very new looking, better than we know travelodge for. Good value for money, staff were very friendly and courteous, always ready to help. And near the airport and the city.

A very modern, clean well run hotel with excellent facilities. I would certainly recommend this hotel to anyone.

Typical Travelodge - the Eddie Rocket restaurant smelt so badly of cooking oil that we ate out in another local place. Other than that, as expected - clean, basic accomodation for the night before our flight from Shannon the next morning.

No lifts so baggage carrried up stairs. Upstairs rooms recently refurbished , downstairs rooms well used and ready for redecoration. Smoking in some rooms is still suprisingly allowed so request the one you require at booking. Don't rely on hairdryers being available. none were available for the three days I stayed. Food availability ok. Prices varied each night according to week day or weekend and also perhaps the incoming flights from Shannon airport.

This hotel is ideal as an OVERNIGHT stop. Its BASIC accomodation, but is comfortable and clean and is aptly named ,as it really is for those travelling on the next day.No restaurant as such ,but there is an American style diner attached ("Eddie Rocketts").No bar either.Tea/coffee making facilities in the room were very welcome. We would stay again on an overnight to Limerick.Got the best rate with "LateRooms" .

The hotel was very easy to find, Coonagh Roundabout is on every map and its well signposted. I did not particularly like the food in Eddie Rockets but that is more of a personal choice. I did receive a call after I checked out from a very rude receptionist accusing me of not handing back in the key upon checking out, I did leave back the key but the receptionist was on the telephone chatting away and didnt even notice me there. I rang back later in the day to see if they found the key and to make a complaint and the person that answered could not understand englist, needless to say that fustrated me more.

As a sight impaired person I found the hotel easy to negotiate. I hadn't specified a disable friendly room but I had no problems whatsoever. It is handy to have the restaurant next door leading straight in to the foyer making breakfast easy to access.

Eddie Rockets restauant adjoining seemed to be having problems at time when busy. No continental breakfast option and they had run out of some possibly acceptable alternatives. Internet connection in reception area at 1 Euro for 10 mins and painfully slow connection. Otherwise modern, clean hotel, and quiet despite proximity to a main road (just far enough away from it), low other guest noise, comfortable beds but would benefit from some drawer space in the room, and a safety deposit box would be a good idea. A couple of miles outsdie Limerick on the Shannon side of the city, easy to find. 24 hr Tesco supermarket a few minutes walk away (no cafe in there).

We were in the extension which has only been open two weeks so it was all very new and clean and shiney. Only complaint would be that the quilt was too thick! There is an Eddie Rocket's American Diner attached which serves great food (recommend the sharing Nachos - huge portion) and even has working jukeboxes. Given the proximity to the main road from Shannon to Limerick it was surprisingly quiet at night.

No frills but not uncomfortably stingy or dingy. Was pleasantly surprised by the breakfasts offered by the diner attached to travelodge - good quality fried breakfasts and also yogurt/granola so most people would find something they're happy with. Staff were pleasant and accommodating, room would be a perfectly good base for a few days on a business trip (good sized desk to work from, nice bathroom, tv and couch). Overall, I was pleasantly surprised by the quality.

The only downside to this hotel was it's location. If like us you arrive without a car it's a 10 minute walk to the nearest bus stop and a 10-15 minute bus ride to the town centre. On the plus side the buses to the town centre are very regular. It's definitely the kind of hotel that you need a car for.

Cheap and cheerful, that it is. Receptionist was lovely - very friendly; there was no food facilities as they are eovating their restaurant, which we were not informed of. The rooms were average size, bathrooms could do with a good clean and repairs. Taxi in and out of town cost E12 each way, so would have been better off stayin in town as trying to get a cab on a sat nite in limerick is an absolute nightmare

The hotel is what you would expect from a travel lodge basic but clean and cheap. The staff were mainly foreign and on new years eve were not able to sort out problems with a few rooms playing loud music at 3am. They did offer a free breakfast for the rest of our stay though. We also went when the restaurant was shut so only contintental breakfast was being offered. It is not as near to the city as we would of like either about 15euro for a minibus.

We were simply looking for a reasonably priced roof over our head for one night and this hotel was easily the most competitively priced place in Limerick. This was its one strong point however. There was no evening restuarant, so the only way to get food was to go into town. In all other Traveloges that I've stayed in there has always at least been a bar to have a quiet drink in, but not this one. For people on a weekend away, like my wife and I, this is a serious omission. However, the hotel was clean, well priced and relatively easy to find so can't complain too much.

i found the staff very helpful and friendly but i was disappointed with by the bar and restaurant being closed due to refurbishment to which we were not informed of prior to booking, first impressions were not good as there was major construction site next door although the noise was minimal, we had to change rooms as the first one allocated to us was impregnated with smoke ,
