Staff was courtrous. Easy check-in. Find reservation easy. Big room. Nice size bed.

Convenience to airport and cleanliness. Noisy with the rooms having a dark feel. Clean but plain, the price was very reasonable.

This place is a piece of crap! We reserved a non-smoking room but got a smoking room that felt moist and smelt nasty! We stayed on the bottom level with a sliding glass door to the pool but the whole frame was separating from the glass! the beds were 100 years old as well as the linen on the beds. The bathroom was even worse, the lighting was awful and I even wore sandals in the shower cause it was so disgusting. At 6am there were people eating right outside our door, it was like that was were the hotel had as a designated eating area. Very annoying! I would rather stay at the La Quinta in for $20 more just 100 fee from this hotel. AWFUL!

For our needs this hotel was great. Two adults and two kids needing to get up the next morning for a connecting flight. Great pool allowed the kids to play. Denny's on site and restaurant that delivers was handy. Would not go walking around the neighborhood but no need to. Free shuttle was prompt and easy to call for from airport and use the next morning. Free breakfast was hot and fast. Rooms were clean and no frills. A lovely garden area who's only problem was rude guests who do not clean up after their pets. For the money, location and our purpose, it was a great hotel.

Great location for a reasonable price. I stayed at the LAX Hilton last year and I wanted accommodation close to that hotel but more affordable. I wanted to ride the metro trains and it was within walking distance(for me) to the LAX/Aviation station. I was impressed by how well maintained the motel was for its age.Breakfast while not exciting was adequate. Rooms were clean. Staff were friendly. My friend and I had a very pleasant stay. I will probably return there before I leave the US.

This hotel was very unclean and had the roaches to prove it. No discount or refund was given upon telling the staff. If you plan to stay here, plan on a liitle company in your sheets. Close to the aiport, but so are a ton of cleaner hotels on that same street.

Booked due to proximity to airport, free shuttle and Denny's next door. The shuttle service runs scheduled on the hour until 10pm-when I called for pickup the front desk said shuttle had just left airport-we had landed & retrieved baggage at 1710-waited until 1820 for shuttle to re-appear. Next time we'll take a taxi . . . Room smelled funny, stale. But ok again to make sure we didn't miss our cruise ship the next day. However, expectations were low as an "overnighter" and was ok for that. Would NOT stay here for a vacation stay. Room was non-smoking with 2 beds as booked; but 2 people sitting on the foot of the bed made the head of the bed rise!! Staff was friendly enough, but I would have liked to have the shuttle returned for us to the airport, as it is only a couple of miles away instead of waiting over 1 hour for return trip.

Super-fast check in, nice, clean room. I could not be more satisfied. It was better than I had expected and next time I'll spend more time there.

The plants and gardens were beautiful and fairly well attended. It was hard to understand what any of the staff were saying. I'm sure this hotel was lovely in its day. But it has an air of neglect about it now. The room was nice but the bathroom needed a fresh coat of paint at least.

Upon arriving at LAX, I tried to call the Travelodge number on my contract. No one answered. Luckily I saw the shuttle bus and waived him over to pick us up. Was not impressed with the room. Had a heavy soapy odor. The complimentary continental breakfast was nothing to brag about. Needless to say, we were happy to leave the next morning. The one positive was, that we were dropped right by our rental car location. The driver earned his tip.

The facilities are a little old, but has that of Los Angeles city flavor. It looks like a convert from old apartment buildings. The facility is a little old as well. The card reader at the gate to the parking area needs you to get out of the car in order to swap your card. Parking is free. It looks like parking space could be limited for busy days, but alright at the night of my stay. It seems to be the best priced hotel around the airport if you just need a place to sleep.

We had a good experience here.

I liked that it was so close to the airport. There were stairs and no elevator, I wasn't able to get help with my suite case going up stairs. Being alone, it was difficult. I liked that it was so close to the airport. It's a good overnight for an early flight. I would probably stay there again. It was a bit noisy and my non smoking room smelled like smoke. But, it was clean enough.

We stayed here one night out of desperation and sheer exhaustion and what a nightmare! The staff was very indeferent, they put us in the back of the maze-like motel, and we had to drag our bags up to the second floor because there was no elevator. We got lost several times because of the confusing room numbers and we had to park in an alley where we were afraid of getting robbed and carjacked. If this property represents LA then I never want to come to LA again.

This is an older hotel that would be more appropriately called a motel. It has a delightful 1960's California feel to it with a pool surrounded by palms in the middle that you can look at from your room balcony. No frills, just comfortable, clean rooms. Staff was friendly and helpful. Close to LAX airport. They have a shuttle but one needs to call. It's just a great value for the money.

The location was ideal for us, parking was free, the staff very friendly and helpful, but the room needed upgrading. The bathroom sink spigots were very difficult to grip and turn on and off. The metal parts of the sink and bathroom door hinges were rusted and showed the many years of moisture exposure. The mattress was very lumpy and uncomfortable. It was beyond it's life cycle. It seems the worst rooms are given to those like me who reserve rooms at a discount found on the web.

This hotel was clean and well managed. I can't think of anything that I don't like about it. This hotel was clean and well managed. It is a well run moderately priced hotel. The location was very convenient and close to the airport.

I just stayed at the hotel for two overnight layovers I had in LA. The hotel smells slightly stuffy and can be loud with the planes flying overhead, but all I needed was a clean bed and a shower until my flight the next morning so it met my needs just fine. It was cheap and had a free shuttle.

Before we booked this hotel we had checked out the online travel, and it sounded nice, may be too nice... It indeed was a disaster. The room was ""smelly""; the breakfast was less then ""basic"", no free internet access (as advertised), there was an airport shuttle to LAX but only ""on call"" which nobody mentioned before and we only found out after waiting for over an hour after an 15 hour international flight.... This was one those ""once but never again"" experiences.
