This hotel was relaxing to be at. The country setting with a view of the pool from all the decks was nice. The deck was made so you could sit and visit and not have everyone staring at you. It had a solid wall instead of a spindle type design. Three chairs were made available to sit in so we did not have to visit or watch t.v. on the bed. I had one maintenace problem with something and it was taken care of right after I reported it. Shopping at stores and going places to eat was not far down the road from the hotel. There was adequate dresser space and a nice long area in which to hang up your clothes.

It was right off the highway and had a bar at the hotel. The bed was vary soft. The hotel was nice with the bar in it we didn't have to travel to have a drink. Was near Michigan International Raceway.

Well, I read all the reviews, actually after I had booked the hotel for me and my two daughters (8 and 11). in September 2008 So I was a little bit on egde on what to expect. Well, what a surprise. Travelocity must have renovated that hotel, at least the interior. The room was clean, the furniture seemed almost new, TV worked, new refrigerator, coffee maker and we even had a balcony. The pool, outside, was clean and the water nice and warm. With the price even came a breakfast with cerial, fruit, bread etc. No waffles tough and the donuts were a day old. Hey what do you expect at 6am in the morning. And the coffee was hot, just what I needed in the morning. The people at the counter in the evening and in the morning were friendly and fast, despite that the hotel was fully booked. We will stay there again. It's a good deal. It's not a four or five star hotel, but I give it a full 5 rating due to the very good price. Hotel is right on the highway, but we had our room and balcony facing to the inside. So we didn't hear anything from the highway during the night. Also good news: There are some restaurants only a couple exits away. We stopped by the Subway, next exit to the west. We didn't check if they have a fitness room or so. So I just don't know. Good luck with your stay.

I stayed in Dec, there where two temperatures in my room very hot and freezing cold. Most things were stained. Blankets were flimsy. The continental breakfast was stale doughnuts and bad coffee. Very low price, but I will pay more for better accommodations.

Convenient, clean & friendly staff. The mattresses were foam and pretty uncomfortable.

We stayed 1 night and were happy, the only things that made the experience short of a 5 were, had requested adjoining rooms and did not have them available, and the bed side table needed to be wiped down, pop had been spilled.

Location was good for my destination. Cold air coming in through the door. It was below 10 degrees the night I stayed. Nice and clean place.

This was the worst hotel experience I have ever had. Again, this was by far the worst experience. If you want to feel discomfort from the moment you walk in and smell dingy odors, by all means waste your money here.

Our entire stay was great.Newly renovated rooms. The bar is a good addition, enjoyed watching the game on their 56' tv. staff was courtious and friendly. We requested our sheets to be changed at 9pm and they had no problem...We will be back!

Nothing. Smelly water, no ironing board, filthy pool, so-so bed. I wouldn't stay here on a bet again. The room was minimally furnished, no desk, hard old bedding, no ironing board, no closet, dirty bathroom, smelly water, and filthy pool. Mainly a workers hotel for transients in the area.

Not a thing. Staff not friendly. Highly disappointed. My company travels across the united states on business with 6-15 employees. However after our experience, I feel we will arrange our travel, hotel and rental cars the old fashion way.

Lounge was small but clean and had reasonable pricing. Foul water smell made entire hotel smell bad. The water smelled very bad. It made the whole hotel stink. You smelled worst after taking a shower than before you took it. They have a major problem with their water system which makes the entire hotel smell bad but they do not seem to care about correcting it. The hotel caters to rough-neck workers who need a cheap place to stay when working away from home. I would not recommend it, especially for a family stay.

"Shabby, rundown and poor water quality."

Wasn't far from my destination. It wasn't very clean. Well the first thing I do whenever I go to a hotel is take the bedspread off because you never know when the last time it was washed and what is on it. Secondly I had to take the blanket off also because it had a dried white substance on it. Do not know what it was or do I want to. Then in the bathroom something was spill and splattered all over the door and I can't believe that the cleaning person didn't see it. I saw it right away. Also being a smoking room (I am not a smoker) anyway there was this yellow coating at the top of the door dripping down. It was nasty. Then when I got back from my aunt's memorial service I had no water. I am not sure when it came back on. I called the desk and she said the guy was working on it. So I had to go to bed without being able to brush my teeth or wash my hands after going to the bathroom. Just gross it you ask me!

"We came here for the Tae Park Tae Kwon Do Annual Tournament. The rooms needed to be cleaner and filled with the right amout of towels for the people in the room. We had to go to the desk for shampoo, towels, and pillows. They gave us a hard time about pillows. They do not offer a discount for this event, where several others places do. The rates are the lowest around. This year they are offering a 10% rack rate discount on the website."

The pool was great. The staff was helpful. The water smelled terrible! The breakfast was awful. We only wanted somewhere to lay our heads after very busy days. The price was right. However, our non-smoking room smelled like smoke. The water smelled like sulfur and tasted bad. The breakfast cereal was stale, the doughnuts dry and one doughnut was frozen. The pool was clean and nice. The staff was friendly and helpful. We might stay there again but we would bring bottled water and our own breakfast. If you just need someplace to sleep, it's good place.

The price was great! Breakfast could have been better. It was nice and convenient for what we wanted. We were not in the room much so it was sufficient for our needs.

I didn't. Filthy. And the pool was disgusting. This hotel was in the middle of nowhere, not worth the money we paid, stains all over the carpet, the pool was gross and the water smelled awful from the faucet!
