This motel was nice clean and i got what i paied for i stayed there for 4 days. i recommend this motel to people who have a budget and who is not looking for anything fancy. It's pretty close to hollywood walf of fame, chinese theather, and kodak theather.I would stay there again if I'm going with alot of people but other than that i rather stay in a real hotel that serves hot breakfast LOL

When we arrived our rooms were not ready. They insisted we orderd smoking rooms when we did not. We do not smoke! The manager was very unfprofessional, yelling and telling us to leave the office and that we were wrong. We contacted the corporate office and we told that this is a franchise. They have no influence on the hotel. So basically a human being can be rude and obnovious to another without any recourse. Stay somewhere else if you can!!!!

The staff was friendly, check-in was easy and they let us park our car there for the afternoon after we checked out. The room was pleasant and clean and the staff didn't bother us. The continental breakfast was varied and I especially appreciated the fresh fruit and juices. Being near the metro line was a big plus as we were going to the Staples Center every day. We even went to North Hollywood one morning on the Metro.

Nothing. I beside bed, cigarette holes in comforter, no parking, bad location. I would never stay at this hotel again. It is not even a hotel, it is a motel! Very bad location. No parking had to walk from dark empty parking lot next door. Safe.

The staff was very rude and could barely speak english and the room was not ready at check in time despite the fact that it looked as though there were hardly any guests. There was parking and it was relatively clean, so it wasn't the worst place i have ever stayed at, but I would recommened going somewhere else if possible."

While the hotel check-in staff is very welcoming, the locations is a major concern. I have stayed several times here and feel safe, but I am a pretty big guy. Not for the faint of heart. There are police helicopters going around the area late at night and no place to go if you don't have a car. The rooms are fine and like I said, the staff is nice. It IS near the Metro, but you don't want to be out at night in this area. I am originally from LA and would never have been found near here. But the rate is good, the staff is nice. The continental breakfast is very slight and in a crowded lobby. Come in, sleep and leave. That is the best scenerio for this. They really are doing their best. I would return but then I know the downsides.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. Overflow parking was very dark after hours and looked seedy. When I realized I was going to arrive after midnight I called ahead, the staff member I spoke with was very friendly and assured me of my reserved room. Our stay was for 5 days and at one point I asked a young clerk to store my notebook; at first he seamed to have some trouble with the notion but finally agreed. Other than that we had a nice quite stay and they were accommodating the whole time. As stated by another reviewer there was about an inch and an eighth gap below our entry door and the wallpaper in the bathroom was bubbling up and starting to peal but the sheets and basins were clean and everything worked. The stay was at the end of July so the working AC was welcome. No bug problems or strange smells noted. We did have to use the overflow parking next door a couple of times which I think/hope is on their surveillance cameras as it looks seedy and is very dark after hours. For the price I would recommend to friends and family.

I was impressed with this Travelodge. The location was excellent for accessing the types of attractions in which I am interested. It is located on major bus routes as well as a Metro Red Line subway stop. The hotel is very well kept even though it is somewhat older. The hotel offers a continental breakfast, although I can't comment because I didn't partake. The landscaping is minimal but attractive and well maintained. The staff is friendly and professional. The rooms are very clean and the furnishings have been updated and are also well maintained. I am a non-smoker and the non-smoking room in which I stayed was REALLY a non-smoking room. Over-all I was very pleased and I will stay there again.

It is close to the Metro. The hammering on the wall at 8:00 a.m. that didn't stop until I called the front desk. This hotel was fine for being a Travelodge. The room was clean. The TV was a little hard to work, but we hardly used it anyway. The location was great for us due to needing the Metro to get to Universal City. (The Sunset/Vermont station is 1/2 block away!) I would recommend asking for a room off the street. There is a lot of traffic 24/7 due to the bus lines and hospitals. The only two things I had trouble with were the lack of parking, since they ran out of spots due to being full and some guy hammering away at 8:00 am. I thought it would have stopped after a minute or two but it was still going when I got out of the shower. It did finally stop once I called the front desk but a terrible way to wake up your last day of a vacation.

The location was great, it was close to everything. Restaurants were within walking distance. Cab ride to the theatre was reasonable. All was good... until we were relaxing in our room, having wine, and saw a big bug crawling on my friend's pant leg, which gave us all the heebie jeebies. From then on, I don't think any of us went barefoot !!!!!

Easy to find using map available. Pool was not heated. It was O.K., clean, typical motel room for the price. People at the desk were helpful and friendly.

The keys to one of the rooms worked periodically...we were often trying several times to gain entry.....I asked for a rollout at the time of booking - this too was not available. To end on a positive note they were helpful with guide and attraction information.

hotel has a great location for getting around the Silverlake/Los Feliz areas of LA. Rooms are relatively clean, but could use some work (reattach wall paper to walls). Overall a fair deal for the price. Free internet wireless is great!

You don't get much from this hotel. But compared to the prices of the other hotel's in the area it is one of the cheapest. It isn't walking distance from any attractions, but it is near the bus and the driving distance is close. Staff isn't the friendliest but not the worst either.

The Travelodge Hollywood=vermont was very clean with a desk and two chairs, There was a separate bathroom and quite a lot of space for hanging clothes. The breakfast was nice but very limited choice. There were some very nice restaurants nearby and the metro was very close.

We got in late to the hotel and the staff was very polite and was very informative of the options of the area near the hotel. They were generous on getting some extra pillows for our room and extra towels for the pool. The bed was very comfortable and not like most hotels were the bed is needing replacement. The internet was very well located in the room as well as the hook up was quick and easy to do. I would stay there again next time and travel i.5 to the hollywood walk of fame to take in the tourist sites.

We occupied two rooms. Both rooms were clean and cleaned again everytime we went outside during the day. There is a working safety box, hair blower, cable tv and wifi internet. Also a microwave in the each room but I didn't like that its timer is dial-based and somewhat inaccurate so I just used my watch when I use it. The room could have been spacious if they moved the bed and the TV to maximize space. Ours have a table and chair which is placed too close to the back of the door so we can't fully open it. Oh, front desk says breakfast is always bread (I forgot which bread) and coffee. I didn't get them so I can't comment on them.
