The Travelodge is Grand Forks best value in lodging. We offer a free deluxe continental breakfast and in-room coffee. Our facilities include a large indoor pool, hot tubs, sauna, as well as an exercise room, and guest laundry. We feature specialty rooms such as Sleepy Bear Dens and Jacuzzi suites. Formerly the North Star Inn, the Travelodge has updated its look and services, while maintaining its pride in Grand Forks history.
Pets are allowed: Small dogs only, NEVER cats, at 5.00 a night. ONLY accepted in NDD1 and DD1 rooms on first floor. Pets cannot be left unattended, cannot be in pool area or breakfast room. For the benefit of guests with allergies, any other areas must be pre-approved through our manager or assistant manager.

hotel had very slim breakfast options. waffle. two types of cereal, no rolls just very limited. staff not always at desk but helpful.

All other staff wonderful - helpful. Hot and cold water control hard to handle in shower or bath need larger towels for pool. If we have fitted sheets on bed - friendly kitchen staff - better water hot and cold control for bath and shower its a great place to stay.

I stayed here on two separate occasions with several classmates from UND's graduate school. This was our home away from home for a month at a time. The facility is comfortable, the complimentary breakfast was above and beyond. The staff are wonderful, accommodating and friendly. They knew us by name and made us feel welcome. I would highly recommend staying here if you're in Grand Forks for a short or longer-term visit. You won't be disappointed!

Like the hot tub. Didn't like finding ky jelly in the drawer, TV didn¿t' work. Pictures on the web made the hotel look better than it was. It was an older hotel that was in ok shape. We found a tube of ky jelly in our nightstand by the bed. Yuck. Also, the TV didn't work when we got there. I've definitely had better hotels I¿ve stayed in.

"Extremely pleased with rate vs room which was clean, equipped with fridge, microwave, coffeemaker, table & internet connection. I don't think you could find better value. Staff was friendly, free breakfast was good. Nice indoor pool area."

Initial greeting by front desk staff and continental breakfast. I can't think of anything I didn't like. All the staff encountered tried to make me feel at home in a friendly manner. Rooms were spacious and clean, as were the common areas.

"We were visiting our UND student & were not aware of the High School State Football Tournament being town. All hotels were booked & we were in a pinch. Found Travelodge @ last minute and was pleasantly surprised. Rooms were clean, beds good, & service pleasant."
