Very convenient and close to the highway. The outer appearance was not much to look at however the interiors and the room were very nice. It was a little dusty due to construction and staff could have been a little friendlier. On a scale from 1- 10, I give it a 7.

Cheapcost, friendly staff. Room was a little dingy. Great, cheap hotel with very friendly staff. The room was what you would expect from an economy hotel in Frederick, that is, nothing fancy, but very clean.

The room was clean, big, quiet and decently priced. So long as I was in my room, this hotel was a great value. HOWEVER... There seemed to be people that just hung out in the lobby all day, including one very crude man with whom I had the unfortunate opportunity to ride up in the slow, dark sketchy elevator. I'm pretty sure there are people living here, as I saw some old christmas and valentines decorations hanging in the windows of a few of the rooms. I don't think I would have felt safe parking my car here, but fortunately I had a rental and left no personal belongings in it over night. The staff were pretty friendly, but they tried to charge me for two rooms even though I clearly only reserved online. Oh, and there is wi-fi in the rooms, although it kind of fades in and out, and is pretty slow (a minor complaint, I know, but I thought it was worth mentioning). If you don't plan on spending a lot of time in your hotel and a few shady characters don't really bother you, then this hotel is a great price. If you are a woman, traveling alone, then I would definitely stay far, far away.

This hotel is in an out of the way location behind a costco - it's relatively quiet and gives you just the basics. It's certainly a bargain. My only complaint is that sometimes smoke from smoking rooms can drift into a non-smoking room. The rooms are nicely sized and clean

This Travelodge was very good for the money. The friendliness of the morning clerk made up for the unfriendliness of the evening clerk.

The hotel has a good room and good bathroom. I really liked the TV. The elevator was really small and some times the room key would not work. This hotel was nice and they were friendly and welcoming. It is an okay hotel but could be a little better than it was. The elvator is really small and not very many people can fit in it you cant really get a lot of lugage in the elevator.

The breaksfast bar needs more items. They didn't even have cold cereal, we had to purchase it!!!

I was taken back from the less then welcoming lobby/front desk. The check in reminded me of my family vacations as a kid, a bit dated. The room was comfortable and clean and the Wifi brought me back to the 21 century.

The mattress was terrible.

Sorry, but I guess the Travelodge @ Frederick was probably the worst hotel I've ever stayed in. The building itself is dark and depressing - the outside has no facilities at all, no garden, pool, relaxation area - it's at the back of a CostCo, so very noisy. We had a working weekend and came home very tired after 3 broken nights' sleep. Sorry, but if I had to stay there again, I would expect to be paid :(

It was priced fairly. Could have been cleaner. This hotel was the best you can expect.

The Frederick Md. Travelodge is low on frills and amenities, and the teddy bear motif on bedspreads, draperies, and lampshades a bit humorous, but the property was well maintained, the rooms clean, and the beds comfortable. Check in was quick and painless. The hotel was well-located for our purposes, and the price was right. Overall, a good experience. Our room included a mini-fridge, microwave, and mini coffee maker (coffee wasn't too tasty).

Dog friendly. Dirty bathroom and not enough people to wait on you. Over all it was okay. The breakfast dining room was small and very crowded in the morning, not much room to maneuver around. The bathroom had hair in the tub, on the floor and the toilet had fluids on the back of it.

The location of the room was noisy-near the check-in desk in the lobby. The room was small but the bathroom was clean-there was a long black hair on one of the towels though. The bedspread and blankets were pilled and faded-the sheets had spots on them and the pillows were like rocks. All in all, an uncomfortable sleeping (?) experience. The location of the hotel was convenient to our destination and the TV reception was good. Not staying there again.

There was a large television with cable. The room was small and cramped and the hotel staff was somewhat rude. This hotel is simply a bargain hotel. Its location to Frederick is about 1 mile or so from the historic section. If you can find a better deal more in town, then definitely find someplace else. If not, then this hotel can be considered satisfactory at best.

Clean comfortable room. Front desk clerk uniformed and unfriendly. Very good experience with the exception of check in and dealing with front desk clerk who was unable to address the issue - manager cleared it up however.

Very quiet. No food available. No frills, good value, exceptionally clean.
