Was not happy - non-smoking rooms had ashtrays and smelled of cigarette smoke - room was not very clean there was what looked like food (ketchup) on the walls and ceiling - The ice machine needs to be cleaned(internally) - at this time I would not recommend this Travelodge to anyone. Location is good and has potential but needs help.

The hotel employees were very friendly and helpful. The hotel was very clean and friendly. It was located right of the highway and conveniently located near many of the attractions in the area.

Thoroughly enjoyed our meal and drinks in the restaurant and bar. Staff were very friendly and so helpful. Continental breakfast included, thank you.

I thought the hotel worked well for us. We were able to eat breakfast in the morning, and take off for the event at the college, which was about a 5 miles drive. I would probably stay there again.

A very pleasant stay - convenient location, informed staff, priced right

NA. No close place to eat other than the hotel dining room. Good quality for the price. Rooms were clean, quiet for being so close to the interstate.

Everything looked and felt dirty. To say the water was discolored is a gross understatement. No matter how long you let it run, it countinued to look brownish-orange. Given that the sheets and towels were also a white-turned orange-brown, it's a long-term problem. The bathroom had hair and the walls had scummy stuff. Nothing had been lifted up when dusting occured as there was dust under and around everything. And they had problems with the pool (Which was somehow actually clear water) so it was delayed in opening. On a positive note, the staff truly was friendly.

Travelodge Erie was very presentable from the outside but well used on the inside. The staff was very courteous but I did not appreciate not being abel to converse with the room attendents that did not speak English. Over all our experience was a good one.

Convenient to interstate, rooms very passable. Restaurant/lounge closed too early, and was closed Sunday. This hotel is fine for a business traveler who does not seek upscale amenities. Basic amenities were fine overall. The main problem is there are no eating establishments close by.

Not the best hotel in the area, unfort. everything else was booked. Bathroom door didnt close, Room door was very loose and seemed like it could be pushed open easily without a key, water was yellow in bathroom and pool area...NOT staying here again

I do not recommend this hotel...very noisey with kids running around the hotel in the wee hours.

After driving for 10 hours of driving it was very easy to find, just off the highway. Hotel walls are very thin. This hotel met all my expectations for a 1 star hotel. It had an excellent continental breakfast which is nice when you are not going to have time to go out for breakfast. The desk clerk was friendly when we checked in. The room was clean. We were only there for about 9 hours just enough time to sleep but it was very comfortable.

Front desk understaffed. Long waits for service, even when you dial ""O"" on phone as un- attended desk sign directs. RM 146 should have been shutdown! Very rusty water! Stained towels. Fearful of sanitation in filthy bathroom. AC/heater exchanged for smaller unit but leaving gaping holes in surrounding carpet and walls. - Excuse given ""under construction.""

The bathroom tub definitely could have been cleaner, but other than that, the hotel staff was friendly. For what was paid for the night stay, we got our money worth!

Plenty of rooms & plenty of parking. Ice and snow packed on driving surfaces. This hotel is a good value for the money. My room was in the back of the hotel and was very quiet. It was also very clean and welcoming. The heat worked great considering the temp outside was in the 20's. I'd stay here again the next time I travel to Erie, PA.

Quiet, clean room. Bathroom dated and creepy. Rusty shower. Faucet water ran both clear and rusty red. Spend an extra 20 for a nicer hotel.

Everything was fine other than the restaurant. The food was lacking in both selection and quality,

Private. Restaurant lounge if you could call it that was creepy always dark. Nothing special just a good location to get to better places restaurant was creepy always dark.

Room size was great. Heater didn't work very well; tub did not Crain while showering. It was bitter cold outside so I wanted my room to be warm. Turned the heater on full blast and the room only ever reached about 62 degrees. Could have been due to the draft coming around the window. The tub did not drain so I ended up standing in nearly a foot of water by the time I was done with my shower. Very disappointing.

Convenient, close to shopping. Breakfast in the bar/lounge. This Travelodge was what we expected. The breakfast area however was very disorganized. It was located in the restaurant/bar. The hotel was close to the shopping area yet felt out in the country.
