The hotel stay was ok. The key to enter in the room would not work when we were returning to the room. So, we had to go back to the lobby about 3 times during the stay to get it corrected. When we are coming back late with an infant, it is really frustrating to go back and forth to get it fixed as we were already tired. Also, once when they cleaned the room, the coffee and sugar items were not refilled.

Clean and safe, microwave and fridge, pool with towels andbay windows. All nice for someone traveling on a budget. Too cold at night! Plastic over the air conditioner not sufficient, and was also noisy. But extra blankets from the front desk were warm. It was clean, neat, and felt reasonably safe -- for a woman traveling alone. It had a comfortable pub-style restaurant attached, and the rooms were clean with extra amenities (fridge, microwave). The rooms were not luxurious, perhaps because of the lighting, the plastic cups, and the lack of doors on the closet. The location was great for my purposes though (just off the highway), although it was not so great if I had been looking for local shopping, dining, or nightlife. I enjoyed having a pool, and the breakfast room was comfortable. I did notice families with hockey gear, which raised the question of noise, but things were quiet at night. All in all, I thought this hotel was a good choice for someone on a budget looking for a clean, safe place to sleep with easy access to the highway.

Overall, it wasn't the worst hotel we've ever been in. The desk clerks were nice enough and the room was suitably clean, not extraordinarilly clean. The continental breakfast was not great as far as continental breakfasts go and the room they had it in was much too small, especially considering we were there in the middle of the week and the hotel wasn't that crowded. The resturant attached to the hotel actually gave both my husband and I food poisioning, which I have had before and know the differece from that and a stomach virus. The desk clerks gave us excellent directions for the place we were going, much better than the directions we printed up. The room was way to small and overcrowded with furniture. Once our daughters port-a-crib was set up, you had to crawl over the bed and the crib to get to anything in the room. Would have been much easier to deal with the small size of the room if they had furniture that was more appropriate for the size of the room. They did have amazing scented soap in the bathroom though.

Warm, friendly greeting at check-in desk and clean lobby. Our room had a strange angle and theTV could not be seen from one of the beds. Fast, friendly check in and out. Friendly staff. Clean rooms.

Our trip was to the Toronto Zoo. Hotel was close a short drive or the bus, which is close to the hotel. Desk staff was good, especially Sri was extremely helpful, give her a raise. Will stay again.

Continental breakfast was very nice and the atmosphere was really nice. Fingernail clippings on floor, checkout took over 1/2 hour and I never did receive promotional scratch points. The stay was fine. The fingernail clippings on the floor of our room was unpleasant. The television was fuzzy but in all fairness they fixed it right away. At checkout I scratched the promotional ticket and was to win 4100 HBC points. Neither counter person knew how to do this. The person they phoned was unable to help. After 1/2 an hour I finally had to leave frustrated and without receiving any points. I did not know about a promotional scratch & win before I got there (which would have been fine) But then to scratch & win but not be able to receive the prize after waiting patiently for 1/2 an hour it left me with an unpleasant feeling. My thought as a consumer is that if you have a promotion running at least one person there should know how to apply it. The person behind the counter informed me that she had been off most of the summer - which left me feeling that she should have been reaquaintted with things before she was left to run the show.

Wi-Fi is available and the the parking lot as well. Poor facilities, needs to clean especially the bathroom, and the smell of the room is so bad and same as the elevator too. This hotel needs an improvement, it really needs a thorough cleanliness. It smells like an old apartment.

Very good location. Had initial troubles with the door locks, poor noise insulation, rusty lamp shade rims.

Location is great and staff is all friendly. The staff is very friendly and courteous. But there was a guy screaming and yelling just right outside of our room at 3am and the screaming lasted for an hour before the hotel staff came to calm him down. Then at 6am, it happened again. This time he was arguing with couple of people. I did not have any sleep at all. The hotel should take action in a more efficient way to ensure that there is no disturbance to other guests.

The location was good, it is located off a major highway. The best thing I liked about this hotel is the location. It sits directly off highway 401 and is not too far from many attractions and the airport. Everything else is expected from a hotel of this standard.
