We were told by the check out manager that we would have rec'd a better price if we'd called directly. Both managers (owner at check-in??) were less than friendly. The stairwell we had to take to our room was littered with small trash, including cigarette butts (though the rooms were smoke free, and appeared clean). It's an older establishment, and pulling up wide suitcases up the narrow stairwell to the second level was tricky.

Easy to find. Amenities were hard to get to. We were put into a handicapped room. This was fine except that it was next to a stairway and was used all night by young energetic feet. This made the room very noisy and uncomfortable. Also there were no screens on the windows making it necessary to run the air all night, adding to our discomfort.

The rooms were clean but OLD. Our non-smoking room had blankets/spreads with cigarette burns in them. No 24 hr attendant. No exhaust in bathroom. No return to this lodge for us.

I loved the hotel. I am not happy at all with Priceline! I loved it. The hotel was wonderful and very helpful.

No pool; no hot tub andcigarette butts all over. Room was clean inside. That's the only positive thing I can say about this place.

It really fit our trip to ride the Durango train, it passed byand we could see the river too! The public pool was perfect for our young children. The heat wasn't great. If you're looking to ride the Durango train, this room was very economical. The view of the river with the train passing by was fantastic. We loved the free passes to the indoor public pool. That pool is great for all kids with it'shuge wading play area, and two story spiral slide. It did exactly what we needed.

It is nice easy access to freeway. The round about right before the hotel. It was very nice. Usually always have a good nights rest at a La Quinta.

This motel is centrally located and had good beds. It had a balcony that was great for the veiw as long as you didn't look down at the carpet.

Surprisingly pretty clean; our room had adequate space for 4 people (3 queen beds) and river view. The outside of the hotel was a little discouraging but we had no issues.

"This is an older property located along Main Ave the main drag of Durango. It is about 2miles out from the RR/ depot'historic district but it is out in the right direction. The Durango trolley, 50 cents a trip, stops at the door. My room was clean and had a view of the Animas river and the Silverton RR track which passes by. Not all rooms face the river. Nothing fancy but good maid service and friendly helpful front desk folks. The complimentary breakfast is basically cereal, juice and cold store bought muffins served in a tiny space. "

Nothing - it was old and not well kept. No room when we got there. Area was busy. I would not recommend. It was old. Staff was not helpful.

The rate was high for the area. The room was clean but plain. We were double charged for the room. It took too many phone calls to resolve. Be sure to get a receipt (I had asked for one.) and check your credit card bill when received it to assure correct charges.

Kitchen space was roomy. Breakfast was terrible and facility was too old and rusty. This motel does not provide a comfort that I expected. Dirty and rusty.

"This hotel is something out of the 1950's with no amenities and overpriced. The office closes at 11 pm, so if you check in later your key may be taped to the door (or not). There is no pool; the continental breakfast is a joke - little more than coffee and orange juice, not even donuts. "
