The Travelodge in Lakewood, though close to cleveland was very dirty. There were stained bed spreads, tiny dirty bathroom, and the constant fear that we had bugs crawling on us...I DO NOT REOMMEND THIS HOTEL ANYMORE!!!!
Date of Stay:

Convenient, clerk at checkout was pleasant. WeakWiFi signal, clerk at check-in was not welcoming. This hotel is an older but-not-outdated place, convenient drive to downtown Cleveland attractions (Mosi, Rock and Roll Hall of Fame,Browns Stadium) the airport,Lakewood. There are numerous restaurants, 1/2 block away from the lake. Would stay again without hesitation.

This was a very nice hotel. Very reasonable in prices too. I would definitly stay here again if I came back to Cleveland. Not to far from the city of Cleveland either. Very clean, comfortable beds, quiet atmosphere.

We drove up to the property and immediately decided we were not going to stay at this facility. Our decision was cemented by 2 unsolicited passers by who told us the quality of the room and the clientel was below standard and would not recommend anyone stay at this rathole

Convenient location. Somewhat dated, could use some remodeling. We stayed at this hotel because of it's proximity to our son. It is a good location, quiet & safe. Although an older establishment, it is clean and the staff is very friendly and helpful.

I realized that I had not done this so better late than never. I was visiting my daughter and her husband in Lakewood, Ohio during May 2007. I was on the second floor facing the inner parking lot. I was very satisfied with the staff and the motel and really have no negative things to say....it is not a 4 seasons or Hyatt Regency but the price is not either. A good value for the money. I will stay here again on my next trip also.

The hotel was about four miles away from downtown Cleveland on the west end of town. The neighbor hood around the hotel was well maintained and easy to navigate. The hotel clerk was a bit short and not very helpful to several guests trying to find a way to Jacobs field. Overall a somewhat clean room at a good price and served it purpose on a budget.

Reasonable price for one night. Poor wireless reception. Smells.

This was a very pleasant, very well-priced hotel. Everything was fine.

For those of you visiting the Cleveland Area, I highly recommend Travelodge Lakewood. It's proximity to Cleveland, public transportation, and dining options made it a great choice. It was very nice to stay at a hotel in the Cleveland area where I could walk safely to things I needed. The amenities and room were standard but the staff was courteous and compliant.
Date of Stay:
October, 2008
friendly staff, room decent size andclose to things. Room needed fixed in some places andawefull parking. Overall it was a nice place to stay. People there were friendly and knowledgeable. Breakfast items were also a good choice and variety.

This is a decent place for the very reasonable price. Room could have been a bit cleaner (dust in the bathroom, on the floor) and it wasn't very handicapped friendly. The desk staff was very courteous and helpful. If you're only looking for the basics at an affordable price, this is a decent place to stay.

It was extremely convenient for shopping and dining. The quality of the food at the continental breakfast. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in the Cleveland area.
Date of Stay:
September, 2008
Night clerk was good with directions to mall. The continental breakfast consisting of cereal, oranges that were too old to be out, and a few bagels. The hotel is shabby. Our room was very dirty with quite a bit of human hair on bathroom floor. Our friend’s room had a broken toilet. Maintenance man plunged it and left the plunger for any further problems. They had to be plunging in the middle of night. There were other rooms available. The continental breakfast was horrible and we had to find a restaurant for breakfast.

This is a very good hotel. Very nice environment and everything is well organized.

Location close to Downtown Cleveland. Parking, parking, parking. Rooms are small but clean and comfortable. Very close to The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, Progressive Field and the Browns Stadium. Great value for the money.

Convenient, safe location, close to downtown Cleveland. Although my room was non-smoking, could smell smoke as soon as you entered hallway. Great value for the low $ and proximity to downtown and highways. A great choice for me since I wasn't planning to spend much time in my room anyway. Staff was courteous and friendly. Parking seemed safe and had no problems. Not much to comment on the simple (but free) breakfast. Room itself was basic, but felt clean although worn/old.

The hotel appeared to be clean and well kept. Friendly front desk staff as well. There are not enough parking spaces to accommodate the guests. The hotel was fairly decent overall. Kept up, clean, cozy, and friendly staff. Easy to find and located really close to the diners, gas stations, and entertainment. The only thing we didn't like is that there are not enough parking spaces to accommodate the guests and their vehicles. We had to drive a block down the street to park and walk back in the rain. Other than that though, it was a good place to stay since we just needed an overnight hotel.
Date of Stay:
July, 2007
Free breakfast. Room was above hotel entrance, noisy doors open and close. Good enough for the money. Located close to attractions.
Date of Stay:
December, 2006
Location. The staff was rude and uninformed in their duties and area locations. The room was cramp. The staff was rude, uninformed and disrespectful. I could hear not only from the next room, but noise from down the hall. There is no place to eat in the hotel and the very limited staff (3 people at most at any one time) had no ideas at all. The cleaning crew leaves at noon, according to the desk clerk. The worst was a desk clerk named ann. who locked me out of my room when I missed check out time by 15 minutes. The only good thing about this place was the location. There is a Sheridan across the street, stay there instead, it couldn't be any worst.
